Hey there!

Just giving attendees a heads up that as of tomorrow (thursday), school classes will be out of session until (likely) some time in January, barring any major events. It's mostly due to weather reasons, as well as some students thinking that this is something called a holiday season. Hmm. That said, private tutoring is still encouraged to continue throughout the break, as well as varying assignments (including those mentioned here), so feel free to work with that. Also anyone wanting to sign up is welcome to do so at any time (there's probably some notice on the school doors indicating that too).

As always feel free to read through the writeup here, and or update your character here. And when the official add/remove goes through, please take a peek and help make sure it's up to date as well. Questions? Ask!

Hi everyone! And welcome newcomers and returnees! I was hoping that an OOC post would draw attention to a few things we have going on here, so without further ado -

#1 - There's an ongoing school log that's open for anyone interested to get involved with! It takes place for most of November, so it's pretty backtag friendly. World Sharing and Magic lessons are also being held at the Battle Dome, if anyone wants to come across them that way. Have at!

#2 - in regard to that, I wanted to draw student player's attention to the science portion of the post, in which an ongoing project of small vivariums is being promoted. Students will be putting together their own little containers (granted limited to the season and what's available around Luceti) which they will be asked to research/display/etc. Of course as much or as little is actually played out is up to you, but you're welcome to use this post to find a "partner" and figure out what you want to do there!

#3 - or you're welcome to just use this post in general to discuss/plot out school related things, like tutoring sessions and whatnot, if you need a place to do that OOCly before jumping in! World Sharing in particular is open to anyone wanting to share a bit of their world with anyone, and viewable in the battle dome!

#4 - just a reminder about magic class, characters can't actually utilize the filial magic until they start learning from the spirit itself. So if they haven't done that yet, they may have trouble with some of the practical portions of the lessons (though that's why they're allowed to watch others and ask questions and so forth). Though people are welcome to put on displays of magic/abilities/whatever equivalent from their worlds as well (which is why it's in the battle dome!)

Yeah, as some may have noticed, my tagging speed is just about nonexistant at this point in time, for which I really do apologize for. My job right now is putting me through the ringer as finals rear their ugly heads and my workload just grows and grows. I've never been more exhausted in my whole life, a-ahaha...

So yeah, that's why I've been so horrid at tagging an tagging back - I've just been so tired and drained from work that RP's taking a huge hit right now. I should pick up a little nearing the end of the month, but that's also when I'll be leaving as well. We'll just have to see.

For now, nothing will change ICly, but this effects Norma, Perona, and Miyabi.

I will still tag, especially the event, but I'll just be a bit slow. I really am sorry, everyone.

Hello everyone, it's your wonderful Chris here. As you may or may not know from these two derps just talking (Sora and Rock Lee). They've come up with the ingenious plan to become Santa themselves. Of course since the real Santa is coming to town this post seems highly irrelevant right? Wrong. Regardless, Sora and Lee are giving out way finders, but some people (Rock Lee's close CR) is getting specailty gifts. So I'm putting this up for sign ups. You can sign as many people up as you want for this and you can ask if your character receives a wayfinder (which will be specially made for them) or just a special sort of gift.

We can handwave how they made these special gifts if you want or someone can run into Sora here and we can work something out. Appointments are good too. Whatever. This is all in the name of fun and rp so this obviously will not effect the event at all.

So I'll just borrow the Luceti mods format on gifts

Okay, folks. With school starting up, I need a little time to adjust to my new workload, so I'm going to be on a slowatus/hiatus until I get into the swing of things. Because of this, tags will be incredibly sporadic. For now, I'm going to focus on backtags more than anything. Possibly send one or two of my characters on a mission, though, for now, they're still in the village.

And on a totally different note, Rainbow Dash recently spoke with Leonhardt about reworking the village doors to be swinging and/or push doors and therefore accessible to characters without hands. As a result, she is going to want to talk to everyone with a business/shop/etc and get feedback on such changes. This especially applies to places like the item and grocery shops, but she'd like to see other places more accessible to nonhuman residents. Her hooves can grip things... somehow, but the same can't be said for everyone (see: Simba).

So, what I'd like to know is if shopkeeps/business owners/etc would have any specific thoughts on this? I feel like this is something best handwaved, but I figured it'd be good to hit up the OOC about it.

Since I needed to post to the OOC comm anyway I might as well nail two birds with one stone.

Firstly allow me to direct your attention over to our Training School discussion post! As Kyio mentioned in Yuri's last post, Brave Vesperia will be taking over the training school that used to exist in Luceti back in 2010 (ironically founded by Alexei). We currently have two main suggestions for how the school should be run and would love to hear feedback from anyone interested in teaching, being a student or looking for someone to spar with, anyone who has an opinion on it really! We'll also be trying to answer any questions you might have about it as well! The training school is not limited to Brave Vesperia in any way, you don't need to be a member (and members don't need to participate either), you don't need to be affiliated with us, you just need to want to take part! I don't usually do these posts so admittedly I'm nervous about it, ~~we dump it all over on our boss, Kyio~~.

Secondly, and completely unrelated to the above so feel free to ignore it, due to health issues I've been on a slowatus since the start of September, they recently got much worse instead of better. I want to apologize to those I'm threading with and thank you for being so patient with me, my really slow tagging will continue for the rest of month at least (and my classes pick up again soon as well so I'll be busy).

Hi everyone!

Just wanted to post here stating that as of August 27th, Perona (thatsnotcute) will have returned home for a canon update. People/CR are welcome to realize she's been absent from her usual hang-out spots for a few days and assume the worst. If anyone wants to post about her leaving, feel free! Just let me know first, as I do have to get into contact with someone about this, as I feel their character would be the most likely to realize Perona's gone first.

I'm also still on slowatus, so apologies for the lack of tags and snail-like tagging speed (and the lack of anything during this event, bluh). Life's just a bit busy for me right now still, and bound to get busier. I'm also gonna be out pretty much all day today because reasons so yeah. Don't expect tags from me much today. <<;

My other two girls - Miyabi and Norma here - are still around, though!

Hey guys! Metin here! Just going to do a little heads-up here. Arata will be going back to his home world for a little canon update, so he won't be present at all during the event. He's not coming back until his canon update is officially approved during fun application times.

I'll still be finishing up old threads with him, but other than that... No new posts or threading until he returns proper.

With everything over and the town (mostly) wrecked by the hurricane, the houses will NOT be self repairing for the next week. This is due to some stuff involving the decoys running amok in a Malnosso facility. The self repairs will take place at the end of the month and things will be back to normal in time for the new cycle. Remember, it is player discretion over how trashed things got. If you want your house to be fine, then it can be fine! Discuss and decide as you like.

So, in light of all the Malnosso craziness going on, Dash is going to be reluctantly postponing the first club meeting again. It's like fate doesn't want her to run her little group of nonhumans.

So, I come to you, OOC comm, wondering when the next best date to get the ball rolling is. At this rate, she's probably better off waiting until the end of the month because of the Draft, flooding, and general insanity that's about to ensue, so... would it be better to do this at the very end of the month or wait until July? Chances are, she'll be putting up new posters after this mess, which I'll probably handwave to avoid redundancy.

Also, if characters are interested in the Standout Crowd, feel free to mention that here! It's still geared towards nonhumans, but I wouldn't mind if people crashed the newbie orientation party when it does happen.

Calling all muns with Tales of Chars! Since there were a number of people that expressed interest in seeing an epic all the Tales Heroes vs all the Tales Villains, I figured we can go on ahead and expand on how we want this to play out and organize things a little more in this entry.

Mallynapping and/or missioning Rainbow Dash for a few weeks. Sorry, guys, but she's basically monopolizing my tags, and looking at AC, it's affected my most social character in a pretty huge way. This isn't acceptable.

Until I can build up a decent amount of ongoing threads with my two other chars, Dash is going to be quietly scooped away. There won't be a post or anything.

I may backtag a few posts if I have time, but right now I really need to balance my activity a bit. Consider this a short char hiatus.

Okay we have had posts like this before other AUs, so let's do it again. In case you forgot, all the event details are over here. This post has two purposes:

1) Talk about your AU and what you will be doing with it. Maybe talk about what you'll be doing on the visit-portion too. Or heck, you could plot some more here if you don't have it all worked out. All that good stuff. Feel free to link to your awesomely complex AU history that you and your partner hammered out together.

2) A thread up top for people who have unpaired characters and wanna work something out for the event. I'll even make a dandy little form you can fill out.

Canon: Name that canon (and maybe link a wikipedia page or something about the canon)
Current Canon Point: Go ahead and say their canon point and elaborate on the situation they're in. Are they in the middle of a big battle? Chilling out at home? This is relevant for if someone will visit your character's world.
Looking For: Specify your interests. Do you want someone to AU to your character's world or are you interested in somewhere else? Are they certain settings you might prefer? That sort of thing.

Anyhow, yeah, I've been slow posting for about two weeks and not posting at all the past....five days?

Long story short, and skipping the TMI, I had a medical problem that could have potentially been a very ugly one that's been making me both sick and exhausted, and I've been spending a good portion of free time getting it looked at and/or sleeping whenever I can (and, of course, worrying about what was going on). The good news is that it wasn't as serious as it could have been, and is now in the process of being fixed.

Bad news is that that means I've been totally inactive for a week or better, and although there's lots of stuff I'd love to tag right now, not sure I have the stamina for it. So I guess I'm retroactively mallynapping Derek, and letting Foot be the sleepy kitty she is, and will hopefully be up for posting again sometime this week.

If there's an old thread folks want to keep going on, let me know; I will answer what's in my inbox in the next day or so (probably at a slow rate), but since some of it is pretty old, I'll understand if the players involved don't tag back.

Anyhow, hopefully will be back in the swing of things by Wednesday latest. If not, I'll make an official hiatus post at that time.

In other news, welcome to all the new players! I hope you love it here. Once I get back into the swing of things, there will be much journal adding...stuff. Yeah.
