I never thought I'd be doing this, but everything has it's time. And this is mine. I'm leaving Luceti. That means stepping down from my modding duties and letting go of all my characters. For the past month, I've stayed on hiatus, waiting to see if I would be drawn back by the irresistible urge to tag. But it never came and I've realized that my investment and interest in the game is long faded. And it's no surprise, really. For the past year or so, Luceti has been more like a job than a hobby. I had my fun, to be sure, but it's been more stressful than relaxing.

Mostly I just need to step back from Luceti and big games in general and re-evaluate just how much I'm investing my time into them. This past month has given me a lot of time to just relax, read, play games, and do the kind of thing I've denied myself for so long because it has turned into I need to post with my character or but my inbox is so full of tags or this event needs to be started and so on. It's pretty skewed and it's my fault for letting myself get to that point.

I'm sorry to let down all my castmates and CR, much less the good friends I've made in Luceti. I'm just a week shy of my four years in Luceti and I've made some fantastic friends while I've been here. I'll be sad to not to be tagging with all of you. But who knows? That might change in the future. I'm hoping that this isn't a 'goodbye forever' for Luceti, but a "I'll see you later" type of farewell. Who knows? I love Luceti still and I wouldn't be against being drawn back again later on. If not, it's been a great ride with all of you guys. Thanks for the chuckles, the good times, and the exorbitant number of feels.

Maybe later I'll be able to picture a Masa-less Luceti because I'll just have to, but right now I seriously can't. You have been an amazing person to RP with Masa and honestly this feels almost like a dream to be writing this. Luceti just will not be the same without you.

I've loved the new ideas that you've brought to this game, the characters you have played, and personally - thank you for all the help and questions of mine you have helped me with as a mod. You are going to be very sorely missed, but that's for the best. It just means we've had one heck of a good time and run!

Enjoy the break from being a mod. I'm sure I'll see you around even if we don't tag a whole heck of a lot. You're a great guy and thank you so much for all of your hard work over these past few years!

Oh wow, I didn't think I'd ever see you leave, and I'm so sad to see you go. I've had a lot of fun tagging with you over the years! (yes, even with Aku.) I hope things go well and you manage to achieve some sort of balance in life you can enjoy it.

Oh my goodness, I wasn't expecting to come home to this! Masa, I'm really going to miss you. We have had some spectacular times in RP and some of my fondest, fondest memories involve your characters and mine. More than that, I really do believe you've done so so much in your time as player and mod for the game. Thank you!

Really I (and frankly a lot of us here) can't thank you enough for all you've contributed on the mod end of this game to make it bigger and better and give us a solid story and missions and NPCs. So I'm just going to nod to that one before I say I've also (duh) had a ton of fun with you in normal threading over the years too.
