Thanks for all the fish
I never thought I'd be doing this, but everything has it's time. And this is mine. I'm leaving Luceti. That means stepping down from my modding duties and letting go of all my characters. For the past month, I've stayed on hiatus, waiting to see if I would be drawn back by the irresistible urge to tag. But it never came and I've realized that my investment and interest in the game is long faded. And it's no surprise, really. For the past year or so, Luceti has been more like a job than a hobby. I had my fun, to be sure, but it's been more stressful than relaxing.
Mostly I just need to step back from Luceti and big games in general and re-evaluate just how much I'm investing my time into them. This past month has given me a lot of time to just relax, read, play games, and do the kind of thing I've denied myself for so long because it has turned into I need to post with my character or but my inbox is so full of tags or this event needs to be started and so on. It's pretty skewed and it's my fault for letting myself get to that point.
I'm sorry to let down all my castmates and CR, much less the good friends I've made in Luceti. I'm just a week shy of my four years in Luceti and I've made some fantastic friends while I've been here. I'll be sad to not to be tagging with all of you. But who knows? That might change in the future. I'm hoping that this isn't a 'goodbye forever' for Luceti, but a "I'll see you later" type of farewell. Who knows? I love Luceti still and I wouldn't be against being drawn back again later on. If not, it's been a great ride with all of you guys. Thanks for the chuckles, the good times, and the exorbitant number of feels.
