Hiatus-- but also plotting!

Hi, all. Pi here! First off, I've been a little burnt out lately, as some of you might have noticed from my glacial tagging. All of my apologies for that, by the way... As such, while I'm going to do a round of tags on the event log tomorrow, I'm also calling a little hiatus until I feel better. I don't have a set date in mind beyond I don't plan to be gone for long - I wouldn't even mention it here if not for one thing.

Plotting! Some of you might have seen that about a month ago, Shikamaru had an IC interest-gathering post regarding paving Luceti's roads. He got enough positive feedback there that he would make a more serious proposal for it in offscreen land, but I decided to postpone it until the extra community houses were removed.

Once I get off my hiatus and throw him back into things, I'd like to get started on that in one direction or another (it happening or being put off), so I open the floor to you guys! Most importantly, I want to know if anybody else is interested in this idea. If you guys are, that leaves just two things:

1. How many characters would be willing to participate?
2. When would you like to do it? It could be staggered and done over several weeks, all at once; hell, it could be put off until Spring when it's warmer.

I was going to tell you that when that came up in our thread it gave me an awesome idea that everyone who helps could leave handprints in a part of the road.

And then Usopp just has a whole face print, that sounds legit yes.

Excellent. Depending on when things go down, I might have another way she can help too! With the weather starting to get nasty in Luceti, it might be fun to clear things up a little for the roadwork. If I remember right, Saori can do that, yes?

Yes, she can. And would, though she's limited to keeping rain and wind away. Cold temperatures and snow are things she can't do anything about, since it doesn't fall into her purview. She's a summer god, not a winter one, so winter-specific weather she can't alter. But if it's just rain and cold breezes, then she can take care of that regardless of temperature.

Though she can read the weather well enough to be able to work around this limitation. Or act like a snow-blower with creative application of wind...

Aang and Lee are both down to help! Marbles had voiced her approval of Toph helping as well... although I can't remember whether or not I checked with Bayley about whether Korra would help or not. Hohenheim might also pitch in with the manual labor.

I know Korra is still without bending, so we'll see. 8|a Either way, Aang and Toph together should be able to do a lot! And Lee can determine a lot too. Thanks, Gore!

Just checking in to say that I'm down with getting Toph to help out with this! Aang volunteered her, and it shouldn't be too hard for her to agree anyway!

And I'm sure Storm can arrange so that they have clear, snowless days to do the work when they need it! Yay, helpful characters!
