Get In Losers We're Going Speed Dating

Hello everyone, today is the magical day of Speed Dating 101!

Remember the sign-ups from last week? Well, they've been organized. Somehow. The IC log will be going live sometime today (probably after I've slept, eh-heh) but I wanted to post the roster so you guys can do any plotting beforehand if you like. It was easier to Googledoc it, so the spreadsheet is HERE. There are tabs are for both Friendship and Romantic pairs, so check each of them if you signed up for both. (If you have difficulty with Googledocs, comment below with your character's name and I'll give you the roster directly.)

A few notes:

• As you'll notice, there's a lot of names on those lists. Since there were a lot of nonspecific preferences in the sign-ups (as well as mixed-up answers) some poor suckers have about 30 partners! That would be a lot of threads, even if they could be short. So if you feel overwhelmed by the number, feel free to talk amongst yourselves, handwave, or just assume there wasn't enough time to get through everyone. • All of the partnering was done based on how the characters were signed up, so any errors based on preference is probably due to that. Billy did his best and made some guesswork if the answers were confusing, so some pairings might be a bit wonky.
  
• Since Billy has no idea of who has existing CR/are castmates/whatever for the most part, characters might be paired with people they know! If that's the case they can either skip out on that turn or chat them up anyway. He left out a few that he did know (for friendship, anyway).
  
• If Billy saw any sign-ups he knew were wrong, he corrected them. (Case in point being Richard getting signed-up for heteromance.)
  
• As stated previously, Billy's not going to force anyone to come. An invitation with the date and time of the event would've been sent out to every character signed up, but that's the extent of his convincing. Your character (or your character's friends) are responsible for getting them there.
  
• If there are any glaring errors that's due to organizational mix-up and you can't live without it being fixed, do tell me! I can fix it!!

I think that's pretty much it :B Questions/issues/whatever go in my thread below, and feel free to plot in this entry or elsewhere, as you please.

Gai signed up for romance/both accidentally and got the following matches:

Adalinda, Adele, Barnaby, Claire, Eleytheria, Isaac, Jade, Konan, Laura, Okita, Ororo, Richard, Saleh, and Tsuzuki!

However because he is dumb as rocks he figures this whole speed dating thing is some kind of randomised race. I'm totally cool with playing out any and all inadvertently awkward encounters, so hit me up here, on my contact post, via PM, or on plurk (I'm gentlesweetsong!) if you're up for some goofy ninja racing hijinks!!

OH and of course threading, handwaving, it's all cool with me!

Good, good! Gai needs someone to keep him humble. ;) He lives in Community Housing Building 1, Floor 5! Room 22 to be super exact, haha.

Oh goody. Barnaby lives on the top floor of that building. THIS WILL LEAD TO SOMETHING INTERESTING!

Also. His speed has a caveat. It only lasts for 5 minutes, that's why Gai might need to do some convincing. After the 5, he has to wait an hour to recharge, so he likes to use it as a trump card.

Fortunately Gai's quite good at cajoling others into stupid challenges so we'll see who wears down the other first, hahaha!

Ah, I read Adele's app just now - she sounds absolutely lovely! So sophisticated. I'd love to bounce this knucklehead off of her! Although I can't help but feel a bit sorry for her in advance, hahaha.

I am terrible and would love to play out all the awkward of Gai and Konan having to sit down for one of these speed dates. Konan might even consider a race less awkward than that right there.

Oh man I reckon Gai's a bit too guarded around her still to plunge into a race. I... actually think Konan might be about the only one on his list from whom he'd rather sit across the table while peering suspiciously at her and asking her totally relevant date questions which people would ask other people on a date pertaining only to dating and date-related things and nothing like ninja terrorism or whatever.
