Jingle Bells, Batman smells, Robin laid an egg...

It's the holiday season, and what better way to celebrate than to have the Joker make his first move in Luceti? ...I know, I'm horrible.

Even though the Joker doesn't have the resources to, say, flood the entire enclosure with Joker Toxin, he's still going to try and bring the holiday cheer in his own unique way. He's wrapped some presents, filled with a variety of objects (some seemingly harmless, like tissue paper, animal corpses, or a spring-loaded pie-launcher, while others are potentially fatal, like a bomb or a jack in the box that's been modified to spray Joker Toxin), and is going to put them on doorsteps at random.  I'd like it if someone got a fatal one (otherwise, it makes the Joker seem more like a prankster than an actual threat - I know usually he pinballs back and forth between the two extremes, but if he just gives out gag gifts, it doesn't make him seem threatening), but it doesn't have to necessarily be fatal for the characters - they could wind up in the hands of someone who can cure poisons, or survive explosions, or someone who's suspicious when it comes to anonymous presents.

To keep people from recognizing him (he is fairly distinctive-looking, after all), the Joker will be wearing face paint and fairly plain clothing while handing out the presents. However, it's not perfect by any means, as the end result will turn out something like this - not quite the same Joker, but it'll do for an example. Though it'll be hard to tell that it's him from a distance, up close, it'll be quite apparent that there's something wrong with him.

I'll put up a log on the 21st, for people to react to what they wound up getting, or to bump into the Joker while he's making his rounds - I know it overlaps with the upcoming event, but with the "apocalypse" being on that day, I feel like it's the best choice (doing it on Christmas would be too predictable). Whether he ultimately gets caught or not is up in the air at the moment, so if you want to discuss that, contact me over AIM (megadoomer4525) or comment in this post - whatever works.  Otherwise, feel free to discuss what you want to do with this.

Loki's made of sterner stuff than humans, so he can take a nasty joke if you'd like. But that also means he's going to want to remove the Joker's head from his body with a (mercifully?) sharp knife, so it's kind of up to you if you want to deal with that.

Probably for the benefit of everyone in Luceti if these two are at each other's throats, tbh. XD

Okay, then Loki will get a nasty trick. Just help me think of something that would kill a human and just make him sick/injured and subsequently incredibly pissed off. XD

Part of the being bulletproof thing is that he's got a breastplate on that he wears under his coat. XD But yeah, explosions might be a bit problematic. We could say he inhales the venom and it makes him sick but doesn't kill him? He could have some gross symptoms like bloody noses and vomiting for a little while. That would sure piss him off royally.

Man, I was thinking that since this was during the event and the elves are terribly nosy, I might have one of them open up my characters' presents instead. And then I legitimately felt bad aslkdfhasdlk BUT I THINK IT MIGHT BE A THING because it's still totally scary if something bad happens, haha.

Okay, I'm still debating on which gifts my guys will get.

For the bomb, does it explode instantly after opening the present, or like five seconds after? And how big will the explosion be?

I might have Jay get the pie launcher. He might want to pull a similar prank in return.

Cool. So I assume the recording would play back after the explosion?

I kind of want to have Henry get a bomb but if only he could avoid the explosion. Think that's possible? If not I don't mind him getting one of the less worse presents?

Hmmm probably something less lethal but definitely frightening. Maybe an animal corpse.

Definitely want Gambit in on this somehow. I am unsure on what he'd be hit with, though. Possibly just an animal corpse for the WTF factor, but poooossibly the fatal bomb/Jack-in-the-Box. :D;; NOT TOO SURE. If it was the Jack-in-the-Box, would it just be the typical crank-powered type? Or on a timer of some sort?

EDIT: Okay, yeah, the fatal Jack-in-the-Box is sounding like it will be a thing. XD; SORRY FOR SPAM

I think I'd like to opt this guy in for a poison present, but I'd like to see how you want to roll it.

Elves in his world are canonically resistant to poisons that would kill humans, and he's been trained to be resistant to most available in his world- Joker toxin isn't from his world, though, so I figure it would do a number on him.

I figure between the natural resistance to what would kill humans, his immunities, and a bucket load of various poison cures it wouldn't kill him- but it would leave him a vomiting mess for at least a week. Joker toxin is nasty stuff. This way Zev doesn't die and the Joker's made an awful and threatening impression, if that seems fair?
