art club meeting #4

Hi all! If you have a character in the Art Club - or if your character would like to be in the Art Club, as new people are always accepted! - follow the cut to read about today's meeting. :D

Noticeably today Rapunzel was absent from the meeting - as Ikki mentioned in her latest post, Rapunzel is sick, so! There would have been a big construction-paper card which people could draw and write their well-wishes upon, which would be delivered to Rapunzel after the meeting. There is a similar card for Raine, so be sure to sign both, everyone! Anyone who answered the call to help set up would have gotten extra snacks, which were a variety of cookies and some pudding. And apple cider.

Today's project? Decorating socks! ...Yes, socks. Given the confused holiday education of various books and talks with other people, this shouldn't be too shocking. Basically everyone will be informed that if they hang up their socks by a fireplace they will be filled with candy and presents (??? Ikki's notably not certain how all of the stuff would fit but whatever) somehow on Christmas apparently by some old man with a bowl of jelly who can teleport through fire? Anyone who actually knows the holiday can absolutely correct this bucket full of misconceptions (and there should be a few members who do, so assume it does get corrected; Ikki for her part will be INCREDIBLY DISAPPOINTED this is not the case, because this was pretty much the best part of Christmas as far as she could tell) but either way today's project is definitely decorating plain white socks which were collected from the clothing store.

There's all the usual variety of art supplies, though, so everyone can do their own thing as per usual, or...actually decorate socks, if they like.

Announcements today include the extra meeting on the 16th with cookies and a reminder that they're still accepting art for the new calendars until the end of December!

Just as a note, Loki won't be there. He'll let Ikki know (via voice) that he's really busy on some sort of mysterious math project.

Grune is getting back from her mission today, though she's pretty unlikely to come to the meeting as she's gotten her memories back and is thus super srs bsnss right now. However, if somebody really wants her there, she's willing to be dragged so as not to disappoint them. :D;;

Ikki will probably journal her up when she notices Grune isn't there, since she's been at the other meetings! And since like. A LOT OF PEOPLE SHE KNOWS ARE ILL/HOSPITALIZED, so she will be reasonably concerned. :|b But if Grune says she's fine, Ikki won't press the matter, she'd just check in.

Sure thing! (And poor Ikki!) Although she's definitely going to notice that something's up when she journals Grune, since her response will be something like "I apologise for my absence, but there are several tasks I must accomplish."

HAHAHA, yeah she would be like ". . ." at that, since it is not typical Grune-speak.
