Good day, Lucetizens! Your friendly, neighborhood Bayley speaking (or typing, as the case may be). I'm boarding the old hiatus train! Chugawoo. I'm leaving for Disneyland on Tuesday, Dec 4, and won't be back until Dec 8 - and then I will promptly start studying for finals! Expert timing, I know. What does this all mean? Tags will be essentially nonexistent from the 4th to the 10th, and then will slowly start to reappear after that. Now, for the real meat and potatoes of this post: What Bayley's Characters Will Be Up To While She Hiatuses 2012. Most notably I need the attention of Hiccup's CR, so please take a look at the below if you're in that group!

So, as some of you are already aware, Winry is installing Hiccup with a prosthetic automail leg to replace his pegleg. The surgery is happening tomorrow, Dec 3, and will put Hiccup out of commission for quite some time. Let me unpack that a bit:

1) He won't be working at the smithy for awhile. He'll be pulling out of any ongoing projects he has (which I think at this point are only Howard Stark's submarine and the Brigade ship), and he won't be taking on new commissions, for obvious reasons. Apologies to his usual customers!

2) While he is especially out of it, Hiccup is going to need someone to feed Toothless and exercise Kyle, his Axew. Any Pokebros or friends feel like stepping up to the challenge? Hiccup would be most grateful.

3) He'll obviously be absent from other functions, such as Brigade meetings and school, and he wouldn't mind some company on his road to recovery! So let me know if you want to set up anything there.

4) Full rehabilitation is going to take Hiccup a long time, so that is going to be something I'll be plotting around for awhile. Hiccup would have told his friends he was having the surgery done, so feel free to have your character aware that it happened if they know him!

And that should do it Hiccup-wise for now, but there will be surely more to come!

Next up, Tony is getting mallynapped on the 4th and will return on the 10th, and Rapunzel will be coming down with a serious case of the sniffles that will last throughout this coming week (so she won’t be operating the bakery, but Nojiko should still be available for bakery-related needs). Toph will be going about her Tophly business as usual, so nothing new or odd to keep in mind for her.

well, considering the whole airbender thing, he WOULD have a better shot than most, I would imagine. Also thanks to the untold exploits of Appa and Toothless, Toothless would probably be pretty chill with Aang trying to fly him (provided fishy bribes)
