art club meeting #3!

Hi all! If you have a character in the Art Club - or if your character would like to be in the Art Club, as new people are always accepted! - follow the cut to read about today's meeting. :D

First off, we now have a wiki page, so you can edit your membership or ex-membership in! ...Yes, some of those are missing the series characters are from, but THINGS I DON'T KNOW OFF THE TOP OF MY HEAD, man.

Today's meeting was holiday-themed! After intensive research Rapunzel and Ikki came prepared to make hand-turkey paintings! :D HOW FUN. They also gave a brief summary of what the heck Thanksgiving is, although since neither of them has ever celebrated it and read about this in various books, assume that half of the details were probably weird, embellished, or wrong. Everyone was encouraged to say something they were thankful for, and all the treats were Thanksgiving-themed! As usual, people could work on alternate projects if they wanted, bringing their own arts and crafts things or not.

There were also a few announcements! In addition to the now usual announcement of artwork being accepted to hand over to Pepper Potts for her gallery, Ikki announced that through the end of December they will be accepting art for the calendars made by Albert! 8D Submissions are to be handed to Rapunzel, Ikki, or Raine (Albert said Raine could hand them over).

The other announcement was of an extra meeting for the month, planned for the 25th (i.e. the last Sunday before December). This is ENTIRELY OPTIONAL, which is stressed, but anyone who goes gets to help make evergreen decorations for the Christmas dance. Why would you turn down that awesome opportunity, guys? They'll also be making various other decorations of the paper-chain sort for a more casual party planned by Lupin.

And that's it! If your character came to the club for the first time, note that they would have been accosted with a badge (made out of craft foam with a safety pin glued on the back) and told to decorate it. If your character missed out on the meeting, either Rapunzel or Ikki probably checked in via journal later on to see if they were feeling okay.

For a start, those two got Thanksgiving in the wrong month. /shot Everybody would have needed to cut Grune off when she was listing what she was thankful for, because the answer would be basically "Everything." Which she would state at length until she forgot. Yup.

Also, Grune is coming to everything unless she (or I) forgets. :|b

Rydia will definitely be there! She'll probably work on an alternate project -fleshing out some sketches she's made of Toothless from a while back- but she'll participate in stating what she's thankful for, and whanot.

I never got this, ty IJ. Anyway, Ikki would have been very starry-eyed about the Toothless sketches. 8D And would have hung around Rydia a bit to watch them get filled in.
