Good evening Luceti! I have in the works a rather dastardly plot for people to partake in. Since the Moriarity plot has been cancelled ya'll can have this instead! Basically you know that god that's affixed to Helios' soul? The one by the name of Apep that gives Helios his cold skin. Well that god is going to be awoken in such a way so that he'll be able to possess Helios for a short amount of time. Either by running into Katie or a mallynap. More specifically August 6th-9th is when it'll happen. Also during that time frame the area around House 44, 46, and possibly 43 (if the Hunger Game's muns would want to play around with this) will be enshrouded in silence as the spell on Helios' ring, the sound canceling spell, will go haywire.

After that Helios is going to be hurting people, a lot. Mostly I'm trying to keep it to close CR but friends of said CR can get involved too. Apep will also be visible so anyone who comes across Helios when he's like this will see a giant phantom like snake behind him, and Helios' eyes will be freaky looking. Black sclera, red iris. TOTALLY NORMAL AMIRITE!? And if that gets a person to react then that's fine too! Apep for the most part wouldn't particularly care about who he hurts while he's out. He's a god of chaos and destruction so you know he's pretty much going to cause as much as possible. He is a formidable foe and he'll likely injure your character quite severely if given the chance.

On the last day Apep is going to be sealed by Harry, Saori, and possibly Molly. So the timeline if anyone is curious is basically this:

1) Apep gets woken up. Either by Katie or a mallynap.
2) Apep takes over Helios and breaks Helios' silence spell on his ring making a big area with no sound for a while. Taking advantage of this he'll attack people in the surrounding area, possibly brainwashing Sabriel in the process so she turns into one of his minions to help him cause all sorts of chaos! And then he'll continue to attack people Helios is close to.
3) Apep gets sealed up, again, after struggling against all three of those people. Helios returns back to normal and feels terribad about everything /shot

I'd rather not have anyone die either unless you really, really, want them to. Aside from that? If anyone wants to participate in this feel free to comment here and we can work something out~

Well, obviously Grune will be getting involved. :Db I'd like to avoid anything more than moderate injuries for her, although--how would Apep respond to her, anyway? I'm assuming he'll be able to sense her true nature, which ought to complicate matters a wee bit.

Apep would...probably try to take her energy/power really. I would think that he wouldn't outright attack once he saw her true form. Maybe he could just...mess with her mind or something for a little bit?

Hm. Well I don't think I count for close CR.. but I know that Helios knew the past Estelle? If you'd like to have her there, I'm cool with it. If not, that's okay too. XD

Regardless, Estelle needs to talk to Helios at some point... when he's.. uh.. not getting possessed by things.

For anybody who's familiar enough with Sabriel or who has a strong magical sense, they'd probably feel the corruption coming off of her from the brainwashing. In other words, she's going full Necromancer/Free magic user but she'll be working subtly so long as it's needed of her.

ALSO! This means that for the finale when Apep gets bound and suppressed by the magical people, somebody...or a group of somebodies, will similarly need to bind Sabriel. Or otherwise force the evil influence out of her.

When you say 'force the evil influence out of her', I wonder if Isaac could draw it or some of it from her ala Hector gathering the dark energies of the curse after Drac's death and dispelling it. There's also the issue of WHY he'd even feckin' bother, but... I don't know. There's a small chance Julia could somehow rope him into it. More so if she were somehow affected. :C

I do volunteer Rei for the act of binding and exorcism. She won't be able to actually beat Sabriel, unless she became Mars and thats risking more permanent damage to her friend, she doesn't wanna do that. With help subduing Sabriel so she can get an ofuda attached to Sabriel, Rei can banish the darkness.

I... might involve myself? Might. Mostly I'd like to get Haruhi in deeper with Helios given she's still studying his world's material.

That's cool! If you wanted to just have her not get injured and escape somehow we could do that. I'm cool with whatever really. But Apep would recognize Haruhi based on Helios' memories of her and such.

Offering Michael. He's got a very good resistance to most mental-attacks due to his training, but I'm more than willing to have him get his ass handed to him or to use him as a shield for others who need saving.

I'm up for Katie being both the catalyst and involved some other way! I'd be tempted to sign her up for being injured, honestly-- especially if she's responsible for Apep being awakened and thus she's kind of at ground zero at the time? 8|a I don't know if that would work/how that would work, so.

That can work! As for how you want to go about it...maybe just having Helios run into her at some point soon and she triggers it by ways we discussed in her own event plotting post? I think her being at ground zero will be awesome too since everything will go silent when that happens. He'll definitely take that opportunity to injure Katie. )8

Reporting as ordered. Saori, with Harry and maybe Molly if she's interested, will be the ones sealing up Apep. This will come probably after a protracted struggle of what amounts to two gods beating on one another. Levy, we've talked about it a good bit, and I'm more than alright with having Saori come out of this a bit smacked up.

This will definitely result in Saori using up most if not all of her energy until she can anchor herself to Luceti properly. A possible plot for later.

Is there anyone else that would like to help her seal up the BBEG, or is willing to help Saori get back on her feet after? This is going to stretch her to her very limit, so more help is awesome!


Also, she'll feel pretty awful about all this! Helios is a fun guy, she really likes him!

Similarly reporting in for Lupin, since he's in the houses affected at this time. We're still trying to iron out details, but certain little odd tidbits in canon might make him far more susceptible to Ancient Egyptian magic than any of us realized.

It was episode 6 of the Red Jacket series, for those who know or care.

I'm just plopping here for plotting, since there are many ideas, but they need to be condensed and refined.

I don't really know Tori's schedule, but I know she's on hiatus right now. And I'm moving next week so I'm not going to really be paying attention to rp stuff for a while so, I think it's probably a safe bet to say that the HG house isn't going to be involved. Yaaaaaaaaaaaay real life! :/

Shepard is definitely onboard this plot, seeing that her temporary lodging just happens to be within the silent area. Apep may be...in for some unexpected ordnance. :| She's also volunteering for dealing with Sabriel, if that's fine? If not, maybe she'll find use in other ways.
