OOC Plotting for Volleyball Tournament?

Okay so it's been going around that Yuri's hosting a volleyball tournament on July 22nd! (ICly mentioned here with flyers being put up around Luceti in a post soon, I'll add the link when that goes up!) So here's OOC plottiness and whatnot. Basically, the rules are that the volleyball rounds go in pairs. Going to have the official signed up list here and go ahead and submit who's paired with who here too? Since Yuri was mostly just talking about it before.

If I missed anybody it's nothing personal, my computer got wiped so I'm doing this from memory!

Obviously spectators are totally welcome and there will be refreshments provided. (People whose characters work at Seventh Heaven? You think that would be cool if they provided drinks to appropriately aged spectators / got free advertisement to all the New Feathers?)

Oh yeah, question:

How much of said tournament (as in the actual playing of the game) will be threaded versus assumed? I only ask because I'll be hiatusing for a couple weeks a day or so after this goes up ;_; and I don't want to keep anyone waiting!

So if you need a new ref, we can find a reason for Will not to do it!

Luke would probably sign up for this. He's never heard of Volleyball before, so someone might have to teach him the rules. He isn't very competitive, but getting out would probably be good for him.

It's okay, I think a lot of people playing haven't really heard of volleyball. Yuri will probably have a nice little introduction before the start of the tournament to go over the rules just so that everyone's on the same page.

Gonna sign Perona up for this as well! She will need a partner, but she's at least pretty familiar with the sport and will play relatively well. She can also float about three or four feet above the ground and her other powers will...definitely come in handy for a skilled or intermediate partner.

If powers are allowed, that is. She may play dirty regardless if they are or aren't. Pirate.

I'm not too sure how he would get involved ICly yet, but since he needs a partner, he could maybe be paired up with someone he knows/a friend, and then it can be handwaved that they dragged him into it. For the record, he has never heard of many sports, let alone volleyball, and therefore unlikely knows how to play just yet. XD
