The great migration continues...!

Kath here, getting ready to leave for a weekend camping trip up nort, dontcha know. I'll be shipping off for pre-Otakon hanging out the day after I get back, sooo I'll pretty much be away until the 12th! Might pick at a tag or two if the opportunity arises, but I wouldn't bet on it.

As a side note, my drive has been as low as James Earl Jones' voice lately, so I'm very sorry to everyone I'm threading with for my molasses speed. Thank you for your patience, and hopefully I'll come back at full force (or any force at all) after this vacation. Please bear with me!

Also I guess Jean has been like mallynapped or something since shortly after that recent mission. Yeah. Anyway.

SEE YOU AT OTAKON! (There will be cake. And, uh, other treats. Of the liquid variety.) Or if not, see you in a week and a half-ish!

Hiatus UPDATE (non-graphic discussion of injury)

 I was planning to return Today.

However I have done myself an injury. It's not too serious, but it is to my dominant arm. Making typing hard as the arm is sore as hell. It's just an inch long cut above my elbow but it was fairly deep, though not to the bone. I have stitches, and got a tetanus shot (lovely).

BUT AS SUCH, I am pushing back my return date a week. I may not need a week, but at this time I'd rather not aggravate it further.

Its bloody sore man.

Also I figured, Hey, I have a delightful idea for Evan's return. He'll be returning as an 14 year old kid, right after the loss of his arm. As such he will be wary, unbalanced, and more likely to try and hurt you than accept help. There will be a shadow of adult Evan, but more as a little voice that says people are trustworthy. He'll probably ignore it though.

Anyways, that's all.

I, too, will be heading up north next week for Otakon. Meaning you'll get to meet the face behind this little miss up close and personal, how lucky you are! ;) I'll be around for existing threads but nothing new until the 12th.
