Canon update!
As I'm sure his CR caught on from Joshua's post, Leonhardt was sent home on March 1st for a canon update. He'll be returning in about a day or so. I'm still definitely backtagging his old stuff though as long as there is an interest in continuing. And I do apologize if anyone thought I dropped him because of that post!
Because of his new canon point, there's a few things I do need to say:
First, his new canon point is a massive spoiler from a game that hasn't been released English yet. The game did originally come out in 2006 in Japan, but since the series is finally making it over here, I can understand that some wish not to be spoiled (and if you don't, I highly advise avoiding the wiki page for this series and ask me or check his info posts if you have questions). And because of that, I'll be reintroing him on an appointment post of one of my castmates instead. I added to his permissions post spoilers as well. If you don't want spoilers, just comment there and I'll do my best to avoid them. And if you haven't commented there before, I'd much appreciate it if you do since he does have one ability that I do need some permissions to use and that saves me having to ask in an OOC note.
And then the second thing. The cast has a bit of a player plot coming up with this, which was why I had to have him leave before my app was actually accepted. There is one thing I do need to give a heads up for and would like a volunteer to help out with. I'll put this info behind a cut to save f-lists since it only applies to those who work in the plaza clinic.
Basically what is going down is that because of what happened to him in canon and his absolute crap mindset coming back, he's going to be in a very bad way. Yes, I realize he's a stubborn idiot at times, this is meant to deal with one part of it and push him towards dealing with the rest.
The big thing I need to give a heads up on is that likely around March 11th or so (it will be about a week after his actual return), he will end up in the clinic and he will die of what he got later that day. Since this is likely something any of the regular volunteers is likely to find out about, just giving a heads up, but I leave it up to individual players as to if they want their character to know or not.
I would, however, like to know if any of the doctor type characters would like to volunteer to attempt to treat him after he's brought in by one of his castmates. Obviously this requires not minding OOCly that they will lose him. It would be preferred that it is someone who has some experience with treating disease in non-magical ways since it is going to be a severe infection that brings him down, so Nala or healing magic won't be much help with this. Let me know if you are interested and if you have any questions about what his condition will be like and anything that would be known about him from his past visits since I'm sure there's a record, let me know! Any part of this can be handwaved if needed, but Joshua (
eyesofremorse) will also be there so his mun would at least like to thread the reactions to this because he is going to be very upset since Joshua and Leonhardt both are not fully convinced of the death is not permanent in Luceti thing, obviously they will be learning this firsthand because having a loved one with a tendency to not care if he lives or dies kinda sucks and that's what this plot is meant to resolve.
And then when I do have him return a week later, I'm planning on it being in the clinic just to mess with him some more since his memory of what happened will be at best very muddled and also because it could be an interesting chance for CR.

Basically he was in there for about a week after the draft in December. Was comatose for over a day due to a cave-in and stayed for about a week. Amazingly, he healed real fast considering he was just seconds away from dying that time. Injuries then included broken arm and leg, broken ribs, punctured lung and a head injury. Most of that was healed when he came in, he was kept more for observation due to the head injury and also the internal injuries as well to be sure there was no lasting damage.
Second time was after the 4th wall event. This one would be more foggy due to the lack of memories, but it would be known that he wasn't conscious for a time and otherwise ended up being fine and was released the same day.
It would definitely be known that he's a hell of a lot more durable than a human is and he's got strength and stamina beyond what is possible for a human. He can actually take a lot of abuse and still remain standing, which can be good and bad. It would definitely be noted that while human drugs work fine on him, doses need to be adjusted and often stronger ones will be needed and it won't last as long. I'm sure someone would have noted what drugs and doses they tried and what results happened, though last time it would have been more painkillers, but that likely will give an idea of how to adjust doses and
And what he will come in with is pretty much a rather advanced infection of the blood. Started off as just something minor and he ignored it.

He'll also try take a case history of the infection from either Leonhardt himself or whoever brings him in, so I guess be prepared to explain what symptoms he started out with, how quickly they progressed into sepsis, etc. (And if he had symptoms to begin with that were obviously very bad, Willock'll go on a rant about how he should've come in sooner. XD)

So yeah, may as well prepare the rant now.
