I mentioned the possibility of this happening when I made a hiatus thread for him and unfortunately... the day has come.
While I still adore StoicfaceMcGee, my desire to tag around with him just isn't there at this time. I was really hoping this wouldn't happen, but I guess it cannot be helped. He's an old muse of mine (as a couple of folks know, I've played him at forums and in IM chats for five, six years or so) and it feels like he needs a breather. If Isaac fails, I cannot think of a better character to bring back if my motivation to play him returns (I really hope it does), and if he is an unclaimed character.
My apologies again to the Lupin cast, especially. While we know Goemon to be composed and reserved, you deserve a Goemon-mun right now with more passion! Thank you to all of you who threaded with him and dealt with his unhelpful man-grunts, frowns, and contemplative silences. This latter day samurai will be returning home to honour his ancestors, deflect bullets, cut unworthy objects, and forever improve himself and his skills.
