Hiatus

I am officially admitting defeat and making my absence official. From now, up to 3 or 4 weeks (depending on how quickly I can get things together), I will be on hiatus. I'm so sorry to everyone who is waiting on tags from me. They will still come, but I'm afraid to make any more promises about when because I'm not sure I'll be able to keep them, atm.

The tl;dr excuse section

So...after a great deal of conversation with friends, it's come to my attention that I'm not actually a TA. Instead, it seems that I'm really more of a full-time grad student who is also an adjunct professor...without the benefits. It's an amazing opportunity which is also pretty much killing me, load-wise. I'm still trying to find that place where I have my feet under me and I'll hopefully get there...but if anyone was wondering where I disappeared to, that's where. My free time has pretty much become nill, and even when I have it my brain is pretty fried.

/Excuses

Oz will be doing his Oz thing, researching the heck out of books on werewolves and moon cycles and meditation in the library. People in CH6 will also hear him howling during the three days around the full moon (before, during, and after), but he'll be safely locked up. Other than providing a creepy soundtrack for a few nights, he's harmless.

Jilly's a bit more complex...as there's no real way for me to be silent with her for a month (and I've already been pushing that). So I'll be sending her on a mission.

Jilly's Mission

This wouldn't be an easy call for her to make, but she'll be going on one of the compile-research-for-the-Malnosso missions. She's not really fond of the idea of helping them, but knowledge of the world might be useful, and if it means she'll eventually have a way of protecting friends from shifts and drafts, it's a low-risk way to do it.

Amelia and Buffy would have been the first she told. Liz and John would have heard soon after. Jack and the soldier boys would have been told late yesterday or earlier today...at least a few hours before she left, but she's not giving them a long time to attempt to kidnap her or lock her up or anything. She's determined.
