Hi all,

After nearly 4 years in Luceti, the time has come for me to say goodbye.

(I'm not good at writing up posts like this, or of getting all feelings-y.) When I started out, I couldn't journal RP at all. I bumped around a lot until kindly veterans set me on my feet, much in the way a skunk will run blindly into things until a hero pulls the empty yogurt container off its head. I never dreamed that the game would give me as much as it has. I love all the characters I've played here: Jack Sparrow (my first and truest love, I suppose); April O'Neil, Xander Harris, Montgomery Scott, Drusilla, Rapunzel, and of course, Effie Trinket. Through Luceti, I've learned a lot about writing. I have met awesome people. I have learned about and come to appreciate new fandoms. I have made friends I hope to keep until they shovel me under. It really is time for me to sail on, but this game will probably always have a very warm and fuzzy place in my dark little RP heart.

This departure is really difficult for me because I want to hold on to you all with my grabby Gollum paws; however, it's probably best to call it a day for now.

Jack Sparrow is leaving behind the Joanna Joyce, which is currently beached out by the ruins of the old fort. (Wow, I never thought one of the most difficult things would be to tear Jack from his Joanna. Feelings, go!) The Cullen House is also standing out there, empty.

Effie Trinket (and Jason) are both going without a whimper. I admit I had more I wanted to do with Effie, but right now I don't have the energy or the time to manage her.
