Oh, don't look like that. You all know I'll be back. I couldn't quit you if I wanted to, Luceti. But...seriously, is there a "drop/reapp" limit? I feel like I'm pushing it, here.
But, seeing as how I royally suck at keeping myself on hiatus otherwise, this is probably necessary, both for my tagging motivation and my life. I need something more permanent, or I'll just dig myself deeper. When they say "Intensive Writing", oh boy do they mean it.
To say nothing of the fact that my activity is persistently getting worse, and not likely to get better until I can take some time off to get my act together. Giles has made so many friends here - it's reached the point where I can't keep up with all of them. Honestly, you love this guy so much, he'll never understand it. But the 4th wall event was the first time I'd written any tags in a week, and replies to a couple of posts last night were the only tags I'd written in two days. You all have been lovely and understanding about working with me on this, but that's not something I should keep expecting for my continued playing. Giles needs to be here in presence, not just because I feel up to typing that day. And I apologize to all of you that I have put out by this behavior.
Giles will be leaving letters behind, as well as a few possessions. Anyone searching his room will find the box from last time on his bed, with a ton of letters inside. Off the top of my head...Helios, Ginia, Alice, Adele, Buffy, Robert, Melaka, Link, Grune, Seto, Fuuko, Xion, Ami, Paprika will all find one. If you all would like to know what it says, PM me. I'm sure I can write these letters up one at a time, just...not in a block, like last time. Otherwise...well, it's what you'd expect. He loved you all, and you meant the world to him. Grune, however, is receiving a particular request that whatever flowers are planted be planted by the willow tree - that's where he's left all the others dedicated to the Scoobies.
Edna is being left in the care of House 44 - he knows you'll spoil her rotten. The Maia Alcyon Volturnus passes to its first mate, Mizuno Ami, to do with as she sees fit. Although, seriously, look after it, Giles does not want to spend another six months building another one because who knows when the next time I'll be kind enough to turn him into a dragon will be. The guitar will be found in Cloud Nine for any future musicians to use. The gold watch though, no, fuck the rules, he's keeping that, into whatever afterlife he's going to. Same with the belled collar. You'll never find them. Buffy is being left Giles' personal journal along with her letter - most significantly, this means that Giles' deal with Grell is now out of the bag for anyone who wants to deal with that, but otherwise feel free to guess at or headcanon whatever is in there.
Save my seat for me, Luceti, and save a room in House 44 if you can - I'll be back. I'm still on plurk is Illustrious_Illusionist and, hey, maybe I'll start showing up there again.
And on the off chance that I'm not? You've been wonderful, welcoming, brilliant people to play with, all of you. I could not have asked for better players or, in the case of some of you (I hope), better friends. I've never found a game that can match you, and I don't want to. Thank you for the patience, thank you for the crack, thank you for the plots and the tags and the wonderful memories on my part and his.

<3 It's surprising. And I'm sorry about that, I honestly am. It's a sudden decision. But sudden decisions are my thing, I don't do well with mulling stuff over it usually just wastes time. But these two do have the most wonderful of bromances - it brought me back before, I think it will bring me back again ;). Talk to you on LJ still, yes?

I might just bring Giles back to that, if you want. And really, with a month or two, I think I'll be all right. At the least, the May cycle is when school lets out. But, yeah, I need to get this essay thing figured out, and y'all are too distracting by sheer virtue of the fact that you're way more fun than essays on the history of citation. But if I don't pass this class this semester? I get to take it next time. And Proust might be involved.
The fluff and awe moments will be my favorite parts. Also angst, though, because he's going to be dragged back out of heaven and we know from Buffy how well that goes. Also, you still need to PM me! On DW and plurk. We have stuff.

This class is indeed a requirement, for reasons beyond my comprehension. I scored high enough on standardized tests to test out of every other English requirement this school has...but Intensive Writing is required. What the hell? Currently, it is my biggest time suck, although I guess it should be for four credit hours. This semester would be a breeze without it.
<3 I am, but I'd like it on hand for when I'm not. So, yes! PM me and we can get to work when I'm less busy.

That...is really weird. And utter BS! I've taken Intensive Writing classes but yours sounds like the real deal. Coastal is so laid back when it comes to like...all it's English classes, fuuu. Big time sucks usually are 4 credits. Organic Chem, Calculus, every Bio class with lab ever. Ugh ugh ugh.
But you shall have it on hand soon enough! I actually tagged Giles with my dragon dude for 4th wall.
