HEY LUCETI it is that time of year again, as you've probably already seen by all of the hiatus posts. It is time for Otakon, which also means...

The Annual Luceti Otakon Meet-Up!

Last year we held it in the Hilton rather than in the convention center itself, which turned out to be a good choice given that it was much quieter and less crowded than the convention center. So I'm thinking that it would be great to have it there this year too, on the second floor in that big open space close to the skywalk over to the convention center.

Which leaves one question, and that is the timing! In previous years we've usually gone with Saturday afternoon, but of course that's flexible depending on when people are available.

SO. To those who are going, what time would work best for you? I know we have cosplayers, so my priority is to work around photoshoots and such (and also panels if there's anything that people are really dying to go to).

I'll make a second post either tomorrow evening or Friday morning when we've decided on a time!

EDIT: This is also a hiatus post for me and my characters (Emil, Richard, Jack, Gai and Shuda); I'll be tagging when I can, but don't expect a ton from me this weekend.

While for professional reasons I won't be able to make your meetup, on Friday I will be by for an hour to drop off home made fudge and such to some staffers I know (I used to be LARP staff) and have made an extra quantity to hand out to any online friends I meet. Should any of you fellows want to meet up with this weirdo and get some free chocos it'll probably be around 5pm (leaving PA at 2:30ish so I figure that's a decent time frame).

Ah storm season, how I hate you yet love the OT.

I don't know if my phone can do Skype, but we could certainly try to arrange something via computer!

Conclusion: it doesn't matter because Comiket service can't even handle a phone call between two people on the same carrier, much less a Skype call to anywhere. Sob...

Aww man. Well have fun anyway, and we all miss you! I saw a Sync yesterday and my brain immediately assumed it was you, but of course it wasn't.

I think Saturday might be best for most people? I AM UNSURE! Also, just throwing it out there, but we should try to all make it to the dance one of the days too. I think it could be fun. >3>

Actually we have moved it to 6! There's some panel that people want to go to, and also Zero got us restaurant reservations for dinner, so we're going to do dinner and the meetup as one thing.
