Greetings, Lucetians new and old, it's time for your late after-app-period stats post!
For those of you who are new here, this is just a fun thing in order to figure out the statistics of numerous variables among the Luceti character/player population and then track the trends in them over time. The spreadsheet used for all this can be found HERE or, for a view less strenuous on slower computers, here. For reference, the last stats post can be seen here, and over here is the archive of characters apped (which is, while not totally complete to the very beginning of time itself, pretty darn extensive anyway).
Anyway, let's get started!
Character count: 278
Females: 119
Males: 160
No gender identification: 1
Male to Female ratio: 1.34
"No gender identification" refers to characters that even the player refers to as "it," rather than shapeshifters and the like who are capable of switching around, but are generally considered one or the other anyway.
The character count is down by about twelve from last time, which isn't so bad. The ratio of males to females had also dropped, which is good, following the trend of slowly getting smaller over time.
Players: 149
Average number of characters per player: 1.87
Canons: 126 (fandom-only, sorry OCs)
Casts with 10+ members:
Naruto: 18(!)
MCU: 10
Tales of the Abyss: 10
Naruto's cast continues to grow with even more new characters this round! Both Pokemon Special and One Piece have dropped out with considerable drops in the mean time.
Wing Colors: () indicates growth or decline compared to the last stats post
Two colors: 82 (0)
Blue: 30 (-3)
Black: 23 (+1)
Green: 21 (-3)
Purple: 18 (+1)
White: 17 (-1)
Yellow/Gold: 17 (+1)
Red: 14 (-2)
Grey/Silver: 14 (0)
Three or more: 12 (-2)
Pink: 11 (-2)
Brown: 10 (+1)
Changing colors/other: 4 (-1)
Teal: 3 (-1)

I also note the colors involved for the "two colors" and "three or more colors" categories- the following are the counts from each category being added up.
White: 28+8= 36 (-4)
Black: 27+9= 36 (+2)
Red: 25+3= 28 (+4)
Blue: 18+8= 26 (-2)
Yellow/Gold: 20+2= 22 (0)
Grey/Silver: 10+0= 10 (-1)
Pink: 9+0= 9 (-1)
Green: 8+1= 9 (0)
Brown/Tan: 6+2= 8 (-3)
Purple: 8+0= 8 (0)
Orange : 5+1= 6 (-1)
Teal: 0+0= 0 (0)
You'll see that the listings for this on the spreadsheet itself are very simplified, particularly gold and silver being marked as 'yellow' and 'grey' respectively. This is because the small charts below the categories count up the instances in the columns according to the simple names. I apologize for any slights to characters with beautiful non-generic multi-colored wings this may cause...!
Age breakdown: Same as above, () denotes gain or loss
10 and under: 6 (-1)
11-12: 6 (-5)
13-15: 38 (0)
16-17: 58 (-10)
18-19: 41 (+5)
20-24: 25 (-12)
25-29: 32 (+2)
30-39: 40 (0)
40 and older: 11 (+1)
Non-humanoid or otherwise of indeterminate age: 10 (0)
Immortals, long-lived species, etc.: 39 (+1)
Artificial creations: 11 (-1)
Unfortunately, my numbers seem to be off for this section, so take with a grain of salt. In any case, to explain what's hopefully already self-explanatory, characters who don't really have a definable age by general human standards are set into their own category. Artificial creations are our replicas, robots, and other such things, and are usually younger than they look as a result. Everyone in the last two categories are also listed under the age they appear to be, too.
The spreadsheet also keeps track of species, but I don't really pay attention due to the high amounts of fluctuation. If you hover over the numbers, you'll see a list of the characters who fit in each category (except da humans because ain't nobody got time for that). Note that I JUST REDID THIS ALL, SOB, so it's possible some characters have been moved around that probably shouldn't have been. Please just tell me if one would fit better somewhere else, since it can be hard to tell when I'm canon-familiar with noooot very many series.
FINALLY, there's some charts both on their own sheet and at the very bottom of the stats sheet itself. They don't really do much but are fun to look at if you're easily dazzled by colors, I suppose!
Of course, because this is pretty extensive and I'm only human, there's bound to be mistakes and plenty of changes that have happened without my notice (read: characters getting older, damn them). Please feel free to drop corrections to me here, by PM, ORRRR... on the updates needed sheet located here! Naturally, if you've any suggestions for improvement or things you'd like to see done in the future, I'm open to hearing those as well. Thanks, everyone!
