Hello Luceti! Please call me Fish if you would be so kind. I am new to the dreamwidth/livejournal format of roleplaying, and was introduced here by a friend. Please don't take it personally if I make any mistakes. I encourage constructive criticism! I check my plurk and I'm available on AIM every day, barring any blackouts.

I am the mun for a character by the name of Worick Arcangelo from the manga Gangsta by Kohske. Worick was a gun-for-hire, handyman, and general jack-of-all-trades alongside his partner Nic, and also works weekends as a gigolo. He's blind in one eye, is a bit of a pervert, and has a phenomenal photographic memory. He's very friendly and is easy to talk to, and he also knows sign language. So long as you are good to his friends, he'll be good to you.

I'm pretty much familiar with all of those characters, and let me just say that I'm absolutely elated that there's a solid Princess Tutu cast here. It's pretty much one of my favorite anime ever. Have you read This Pendant Heart by Mangaka-chan and LunaSphere? It's basically a light novel/doujin sort of deal, written as a sequel to the anime, and it does a pretty good job of keeping everything canon.

Oh gosh you're playing the guy from Journey, too? That's awesome! Journey's one of my favorite games now, haha. I'm familiar with pretty much all of your characters save for Okita Souji, since I'm waaaaay behind on Peacemaker Kurogane. I'll have to reread it all sometime.

I read the first few volumes forever ago, and I think it was in Shounen Jump for a bit? Don't really remember. I'm a sucker for anything Shinsengumi related, though.:3c

It could have been! I only ever caught it in Japanese after it was finished publishing, so I'm not sure where it ran.

But I am totally a sucker for Shinsengumi things, too. It's gotten to the point where my co-workers bring me back anything even remotely Bakumatsu related when they go on trips. Right now I have a yuzu flavored Sakamoto Ryoma themed drink sitting on my table.

I'm a little jealous! I just recently started playing Hakuouki and it's pretty much an otome game where the Shinsengumi fight zombies so far, which is okay in my book. The main character's adorable!

Ohhhh that is such a cute game, yes. I haven't played it, but we used to have a Hakuouki cast in Luceti so I learned a bit about it. It's still pretty popular here, actually. And yes! The main character is totally adorable.

There's a 3DS version of it coming out soon, too. I hope more otome games come stateside because of it. It's kind of exciting even this one made it over.

Did it sell well in the states? If it did, I wouldn't be surprised if more of the games started to go that way. I know there are a lot of fan translations out there at least. I've heard people on plurk talking about them before.

It sold well enough for the sequel to show up stateside, so I figure it did pretty well. I know another otome game's coming out this summer called Sweet Fuse. It's a pretty weird game, but I'm intrigued.

If enough of them do well, you should be able to see the others come out soon. I don't follow the otome games as closely as I do other games, but the industry as a whole is moving toward catering to a wider audience, so I don't see why more won't show up. Haven't heard of Sweet Fuse, but I'll take a look. :3b

The game's main character is the fictional niece of one of the developers, Keiji Inafune. It's a pretty weird concept, so that's why I'm interested.

Hi hey hi welcome to the game. I really should look into this Gangsta thing it's popped up a few times in RP for me and I'd never heard of it before then and it seems neat. Anyway!! I hope you settle in, make some nice CR, and generally enjoy your time here.

Nice to meet you Charles! I need to get around to reading all of Blue Exorcist myself, but I'm familiar with Haruhi and Masaomi. Gangsta's not too long, but be prepared for a lot of violence and mature themes like prostitution, drugs, etc. The characters are portrayed really well, and the art's gorgeous.
