HE PROBABLY DID...I don't know how well it'd work, but he would have tried to make her a Rememberall. So there's a glass ball that will fill with green smoke when she forgets something now...:|

And additionally he probably left her seeds for new snapdragon plants and a small note that actually admitted that she was one of the nicer people he got to know and that he appreciated her.
