Sick of gardening yet?
Hello, all!
You probably already saw Luke's post about helping out with the harvest this weekend at the farm. Well, it seems great minds think alike! As Robert and Grune are co-maintainers of the Memory Garden, Golden and I have been discussing the fact that it's getting to be the time of year to put it to bed for the winter. More or less. I'm kind of fudging things here.
This would include planting bulbs and certain bushes/shrubs for the spring, wrapping up smaller or more delicate bushes, covering less hardy beds with leaves, general raking and tidying and fixing things up from that tornado thing we've got coming, and so forth.
Provided there's interest, we were thinking about putting up a mass log on Saturday, October 20. We'd also handwave a post advertising it; if you'd like to participate, assume Grune vaguely spread the word in your general direction. :|b
Sound good? Any questions/comments/declarations of love for either/both of us?
EDIT: Sapph mentioned that there's going to be a cold snap mid-week, which tends to be a little hard on plants and all (thanks, Sapph!). So, I'm tentatively putting forward Tuesday, October 16 instead. Anything else that might disrupt things that I've spaced out on?

Actually, she'll be bringing along Sophie, House 34's resident four-year-old NPC, so this could get interesting. XD;;

whose child is she, out of curiosity

Senel Coolidge and Stella Telmes from Tales of Legendia (they were canonically engaged, soooooo nobody was surprised). Senel dropped a couple of years ago and Stella did the same last year around this time. Everyone in Legendiahouse has been looking after her ever since.

Yeah, it's not all that well-known--Sophie flies pretty much under the radar a lot of the time.

... Hmm. Presumably he could be away for awhile in the morning, though he will be hung over, haggard and generally looking like shit. Grune is still welcome to bother him, though. |D;

Do you mind him missing out, though? I'm sure we could push it forward a day if necessary.

Either way he will certainly get in on the following day or so because things get a lot better from that point. (Well, hopefully anyway.)
