AND NOW OTHER THINGS this is Sararararah, your resident weirdo, bringing in a super sparklie and rainbowtastic original character: Hoshikyo! Some of you might remember when she was around before back when we were still on that one website with the goat. But she's back now, and with a shiny new canon update! You can find her ridiculously long app here!
Basically, Hoshikyo is the alias of Kari Nijihi, your basic Japanese-school-girl-turned-magical-girl living in the year 2050, where books are considered antiques and trees are the world's most valuable natural resource. Mostly because they all burned down about 100 years ago. A sad-day for sad-birds indeed.
For those who do remember her from before, she's a bit different now! She's spent the past year dealing with the new evil magical girl in town, falling in love with aforementioned magical girl's alter-ego, and getting possessed by the spirit living inside her pendant that she wasn't actually aware of until now! But really, the biggest different will be for anyone who met Kari, since her personality is now far more corrupted by the spirit in her pendant: basically, her Hoshikyo personality is taking over her normal personality. What does that mean? Well, she's a lot more friendly, for one. And keeping that secret identity of hers a secret might be a little more difficult! But she'll still try. It's a super hero thing, okay okay.
On that note, you may see me tagging around withnormalesbian for when Kari isn't transformed, so don't get confused when you see a journal you don't have added responding to stuff!
And one last thing of interest is this little Permission Post over here in regards to Fourth Walling! Hoshikyo is a magical girl who travels worlds, and her world is pretty much at the center of all the universes in all the dimensions ever. What does this mean? Well, there's more in the linked post, but basically she might recognize some characters here from back home! So if you could give that a look, I'd really appreciate it! <3
