Hey Luceti! This is Nadia (player of Leonhardt, eyesofstrength) trying the second character thing again with a different character who hopefully should fit me a bit better this time. This here is Hugo Fact from Ys Origin (and just for the record, Ys is pronounced like the word "ease").

And for those not familiar at all with the canon, Hugo is basically a sorcerer who has led a horribly sheltered life until recently. He does seem at first to be the stuck up type and even arrogant to a degree. But it turns out he also has an odd sense of humor and a tendency to make amusing comments about people and will be quite blunt. I'll just leave this and this here as examples. Seriously, don't be surprised if he points out something lacking in your character, but at least one can depend on him to be honest.

Anyway, looking forward to playing him but for now please do go ahead and friend add luredbypower or do the good old hover dance on luredbypower.

... This is reminding me that I should actually play Ys Origin instead of just letting it sit there, untouched. Actually, I should finish Oath of Felghana while I'm at it ...

But anyway, I look forward to seeing Hugo around! He seems pretty interesting.

Yes, you definitely should play it! Though both the games are very fun. I'm just glad to see someone besides Misa and I who has them, we're so used to very few being familiar with the series.

...You know, I played those games, but I always pronounced it Is. /LAME BEYOND LAME. :| /I frequently mispronounce things though.

I know it gets a lot of mispronunciations and considering Hugo is likely to bring it up, figured it would be good to mention!

But so awesome to hear of another who has played some of the games. Which ones have you played?

Ah, the one Origin is a prequel to! Origin basically takes place 700 years before that and the characters in it are ancestors of many of the characters in Ys I & II. And yep, Hugo is Dark Fact's ancestor.

I figured he might be! I clearly need to put Origin on my To Play list.

I'm sure you wouldn't regret it! I know I still can't tear myself away, but still haven't gotten all the achievements yet.
