+1 Firebender and Derp

Hiya folks! This is Althea! Some of you might remember me (or not, that's ok too). Now that I'm comfortably settled in the Pacific Northwest.... okay yes sure we still have unpacked boxes and we're not done hanging pictures, but we're here! Ahem. Anyway, now that the insanity of moving 2100 miles across the country is over, I AM BACK!

For today's offerings, I bring you two characters. One I've been dying to play here for a long long time and one that will probably look familiar. Both are royals. I just realized this. Heh. Neither of them are prone to discussing that though.

Starting with the Firebender! This is Iroh from Avatar: The Last Airbender. Old guy, drinks tea, plays Pai Sho. Also kicks ass in a fight if he can be motivated to do so. Usually not. Also a dispenser of many a proverb and old person wisdom. Sometimes a flirt. Often a troll. You'll love him, I promise. He's pulled from just after "The Avatar and the Fire Lord" which I will not detail because spoilers suck. But let's just say for castmates, he's going to be very surprised to see sunshine.

Next is the Derpy Princling Knight. It's Ceodore Harvey from FFIV: The After Years. He'd been here for about two years before. For anyone not familiar with the kid, he's the son of Cecil and Rosa the great world leaders, making him the Crown Prince of Baron. Also a new recruit to the Red Wings (although if you look at his journalname, lastoftheredwings, you can see how well that's turned out). Anyway, being the child of world saving heroes has left him with a bit of an insecurity complex. He's earnest to a fault and impulsive though. Fun stuff all that teenage angst.

However! There are a few changes to the boy from the time he was here last. He's from much further into the game, taken from just before the showdown with the Dark Knight. So, his insecurity and derp will be considerably dialed down. Things have gone to hell for him and he's taking it hard. Fortunately, he's less clueless, more leader, better fighter. The other thing... he's fifteen years old. Because Square is a pain in the patooty and retconned his age down from 17 to 15 about a year after I started playing him. I'm really super sorry for the confusion about the age issue and apologize for any brainbreak it causes your characters. Thanks to the age retcon, Ceodore's memories are not coming back with him so everything will be fresh and new and wtf for him. Again with massive huge apologies to any and all previous CR.

But yeah, man man man am I excited for these two! Grune actually had minor CR with our last Iroh, so, uh, both of your characters are going to have her being all happy at them! XD;;

Actually, Ceodore is going to likely be super-confused at her, because two events back, Grune got her memories messed with to think she was found next to Cecil when he was a baby and thus was mommy to him, Kain, and Rosa as they grew up. Her memories have mostly faded, but there's still a good deal of residual fondness--meaning Ceodore you are sort of +1 hot grandma??

ANYWAY! This is my tl;dr way of saying I am super-psyched to have you back in the game and welcome! ♥♥♥♥♥
