Daisy was kidnapped at an early age to become a slave, but shortly thereafter was saved by her dad who was in the Marines (a character called "Edelweiss"), and was married to a genius woman that could design suits of armor (a character called "Bougainvillea").
He was an idol for Daisy, whom in spite of the rampant corruption in the whole organization, taught her about ideals of honor, duty, and defense of the weak, in spite of having to fight even against fellow Marines if need be. Edelweiss gave her training from hell essentially possible for One Piece characters, which made her quite strong, and was further aided by her mom in getting that nifty suit of armor, and enlisted with the Marines as soon as she became of age to once again rise to the rank of Chief Petty Officer.
Since she has a thing for tragic pasts, her adoptive parents were killed by corrupt marines that weren't too happy with what they were doing. Still with a suit of armor and ungodly strong, she opted to continue serving while attempting to uphold the law, to honor her family.
She served in a post near the Fishmen Islands... Against the many jerkass fellow Marines that forget that slavery is forbidden. Since she was saved from slavery, she kind of has a thing against it, so she's very active against this kind of thing, making her even more of a Lawful Good character than her canon counterpart. Because of her post near the Fishmen Islands and Keimi's constant troubles, she also developed a deep friendship with the mermaid to aid her constantly, and help her and her kin whenever necessary.
To most elements, she's essentially the same, albeit more law-abiding a tad bit hammy/shounen-like when it comes to certain matters. That being said, she stands some pirates given that, if the Marines were an effective and non-corrupt organization, there wouldn't be as many pirates, and she's of the belief (because of her adoptive dad) that one person standing his ground can do a lot to fix an organization corrupt to the core. That, and it depends on what actions do they cause.
She's the same to her CR, albeit a bit friendlier towards the Straw Hats in spite of their status as pirates, (and probably scared a little about Sanji for his flirtatious ways enough to scare her off before any confrontation begins ((with his mun's permission of her suddenly knowing a little about him)) ), and a long-time friend of Keimi.
Jaydee - Woefully late
