HEY folks. Saralinda here with some info and some plot offerings, outlined briefly:

1) Dead animals!
2) Vampire attacks!
3) Siring more vampires so she can have vampire friends!

1) Up til now Drusilla, BTVS's craziest vampire girl, has been living by the Eastern Lake and subsisting on wild animals. Characters who spend a lot of time in the forest, especially by the lake, will very likely come across animals -- deer, rabbits, raccoons, WHATEVER -- anything except the mighty honey badger, which can be overcome by no one -- drained. DRAINED OF THEIR BLOOOOOOOOOD. The animals will appear intact, except for two small puncture wounds on their jugulars. These will be noticeable for those who look.

Some characters who were around for when Derek vamped out might start to get suspicious, because really, the carcasses will look the same as the ones he drank from.


2) I don't want this to conflict with the big upcoming event, so when that is done and we are all feeling woozy from the tags, Drusilla will be looking to get a drink of actual human blood. (Ugh, and I could not find a way to type that that did not gross me out.) I know many people replied to her permissions post but if anyone wants to specifically be attacked on that upcoming post, let me know. There are two slayers in Luceti so theoretically the action doesn't have to get too traumatic before one or the other or both break up the party.


3) She is also going to be wanting to sire more vampires. She doesn't like being alone, okay? This does not have to happen right away and would conceivably be a much longer-term plot. It would possibly end with your character being slain. There would be trauma. THINK ABOUT IT, WON'T YOU?

I DON'T KNOW WHO WANTS IT, you or Masa, but for a long time I've been tickled by the thought of a vampire/wraithlikething trying to feed off of Rogue. Because. Zap.

Interesting consequences/conversation all around. NOT SAYING "Let's do this," but something to consider, y/y?

ETA: .../sob. And due to my headache and filling out your permissions post and my apparent mood, I am now HORRIBLY INTRIGUED by the thought of letting Dru turn Katara. But. Yes. This is just to let you know I will put it on the back burner. 8|a And tbh, probably chicken out. Her poor CR and after-effects of being dead. But playing her evil might be so much fun! I DON'T KNOW. ...actually, I don't even know if I could PLAY her evil, so that's something I'd have to think about too.

SO. For Rogue, I am not sure if Dru would try to feed off her. With all her psychic powers and aura reading and stuff, she would probably at least figure her to be a powerful magical being, and Drusilla...well. My read on her is that she is definitely not a coward but she DOES prey on the weak and innocent. That is her M.O. on the show, and that seems to be the general consensus on her in the BTVS wiki. She is really unlikely to go after someone powerfully magic as a meal, though she might consider trying to talk her into vamping. Mostly I think she would just be fascinated by her.

We just gotta figure how Lupin meets Dru after the event? Do we want it in a post post, or an appointment? Because he still see's the Lake House as Goemon's place, and he's gonna want a few days there to clear his head after the event.

Of course, that won't happen.

My intention is to make a post after the event dies down a little. I know there are going to be a lot of tags for that event, so I am not exactly sure WHEN but definitely at least sometime in April. It could definitely happen in her post and I am sure Charles and Aly would be THRILLED to intervene.

okay, I really like the siring plot, but I doubt my character's viable for it. But if she ever needs blood, I suppose that Tsuzuki could be tricked into giving her some.

YES! Notice the dead things! Definitely! And it would be interesting to see her trying to trick someone into it. She DOES kind of do that when she turns Spike. Sort of. Kind of. She more talks him into it when he's in a bad place emotionally. But I think it would be IC for her to try to seduce someone into it.

Link's in a decent position to spot the animals (total forest kid!), although he kind of... missed a lot of the stuff with Derek and may not make the connection. But, he does (...did?) have close CR with Giles - I'll ping the mun and ask if Identifying Vampire Bites ever actually came up.

...And a tentative yes to being attacked >.> Maybe he goes to investigate the animals or something...?

Already offered Ginia for munchy mindscrewy meal times back on Plurk! I think she would notice the animal bodies and make the connection to vampire and be on guard then. But she still has no clue about Drusilla.

Rue would notice the bodies and freak out, especially since she's living in the woods right now (treehouse village with Katniss), but I'm going to keep her from Drusilla from now.

Remember that post a while back, you know, where Luke mentioned that he'd protect villagers? Well...he has been stalking around the woods, looking for threats. He doesn't exactly know what a vampire is though, but the messed up animals are a clue.

I'd be tempted to offer someone up. I half considered Kurt, just because of how much of a nightmare vampire he would be for Luceti. (He'd probably be as bad if not worse than Yuber was.) But since Guide may end up fairly involved with all this going on, I'll probably have to hold off.

But it would be pretty darn awesome if enough people were willing to take the plunge and get a small vampire army going. Especially a group that could defend themselves in a pinch.
