Sora here, bearing a second mural project for Luceti! (You can find the first one here on LJ, and for a quick and easy reference this is what the mural more-or-less looks like.) I don't have this design quite worked out yet, but I'll get something up eventually, either here or in an IC post from Pao-Lin. In the meantime, here's some bullet points about the project as a whole because this is easier than trying to brain paragraphs:

✏ It will be painted on the ground around the fountain! If the ground isn't ideal for it already (I'm not sure what canonically the ground is like in the plaza…), I think Toph could probably muster up something again to be painted on. YAY OR NAY, BAYLEY????

✏ If there isn't already a separate New Feather party being planned for this cycle, I am offering up the mural project for this purpose, since there'll be food and socializing there anyway! I'm fine either way; I just want to know whether this is a possibility so things can be planned accordingly (including the timing).

✏ The schedule of this will likely be similar to the first project: first two days will have Pao-Lin and other more art-inclined volunteers ("inclined" either in terms of skills or willingness to help out) laying down the majority of the design, with the third day being open to other people contributing somehow (which is also when the New Feather party would be happening). I'm hoping to rope Seventh Heaven into catering for the third day, so I'd love to hear from SH peeps on whether this would be okay.

Mmm, I think that's it for now. Anyone interested in getting in on some hot painting action? :|c Or, well, any other comments or remarks are fine too.

Wow, it'll almost be just like the first mural project! EXCELLENT. (Though I hope Rapunzel can keep her hair out of the way. Admittedly, it'd be hilarious if she ended up smearing part of the mural because her hair was dragging on the ground.)

everything is better with cats, amirite I'm hoping this design will be more geometric than the first mural, so it might be easier for non-artistically-inclined folks to help out! And then Caesar will have no excuse not to stay and at least paint a few brushstrokes. :|b

By which I mean, yes, I would be all for this. :D Though as I've mentioned in other comments, the design might be more geometric than the first mural, but it would still require drawing on the ground and that could...potentially be a pain.

I'm...actually not sure if there is a New Feather party planned. I'm not sure who's doing that stuff at the Welcome Center these days. ;; But combining the mural project with the New Feather party sounds neat to me!

Yeah, I was all /headtilt because Rise was doing it before she got sent home, and then Ginia was organizing some stuff but now she's gone too. But I'm glad you think it's a good idea!

Hee! I was inspired by sidewalk drawings like these, although I don't think Pao-Lin's design will have that optical illusion element to them.

That reminds me, I was wondering if there should be an official mention of the mural(s) on like the Locations page or something. They're going to be really hard to miss, and although I've been making mention of the Welcome Center mural in bracket text as needed, it might also be helpful on a nitpicky level to have that reference...

Good enough! I'm hoping that's what this project will be like: the more experienced artists will lay down the basic pencil lines, and then mark the spaces accordingly with the right colors and let other people fill in the spaces. Painting/drawing on the ground is likely to be a pain, so best to keep things as simple as possible while still being interesting. :|b
