OOC Plotting for the Bil Threat

Ideas which have come up so far:

• Bil is currently in the Med Center under guard. Law has ordered more Rogues to guard him but will likely be moving him somewhere else more secret/secure because there are some people (I play one) who would sell that location out quietly.
• The idea of using shapeshifters/disguise masters to impersonate Bil and selling their location out to plant them as a possible mole was proposed. <-This was Mod Approved
  Volunteers: Lupin, Joshua?
  Can Assist: Magic Disguises, Other Considerations, Clonemaker #1, Clonemaker #2
• The idea of taking a telepath of some sort to the Comatose Bil's mind to see if anything was proposed
  Volunteers: Luke
• A Town Meeting about this, obviously. Proposed for Wednesday ICly. Also how to facilitate it In Character Announcement, In Character Log
• Luceti Avengers Assemble
• Going to ask John what he thinks <-Rin will do this (dumbly) // other people should too in more detail
• Guard shifts and the idea of lots of "guards" as a misdirect
• Brave Vesperia Open to doing things // IC Post
• SSS IC Summons
• Someone tell the non-reading non-journal watchers?
• Blue Rogues guard because that's their style

So here we go. Propose other ideas, propose meetings, locations, say what you think of these, approve or disapprove of things, etc. Go nuts.

Naturally, for this or any other idea to come to IC fruition we'd need to have some sort of meeting. Scorp would actually propose a public one (stating the barracks as a location on the journal and then moving it to somewhere on the coastline) to pool ideas and actually so he can judge is there's any better ideas than a quiet location given to see what happens. (Other people might porpose things too at other times I'm just He'd have all the ideas listed here in mind because he's a genius even if I'm not quite that clever myself.

I'll also be updating the post's list for anything proposed in here? Or that I'm elsewise made aware of. /rolls

Town meeting has indeed been proposed for wednesday, just to confirm it. I don't mind having this guy be the bait for the switcheroo, because he doesn't use powers to do it. If anyone really wants it, though, I'll step aside.

Potential Moles and Telepaths, Also Security

For the Moles, the only one I can think off right off the bat with the skill set that would get them in and not dead is Lupin. I'm pretty sure there are other sneaky type spy people in the village I'm not aware of though.

For a guard and a telepath, also off the top of my head, Luke.

Done. Luke will stand guard day and night if need be. It looks like I'll be delaying my plot with Nomi Sunrider again. But that may just make things easier, its handy to have an extra Jedi in your head.

Tony will try to spur a sort of response team (Director Fury would be so proud), but he wouldn't be opposed to the doppelganger idea, either. Mostly, he's of the opinion that they should have a hell of a lot of options so they can be prepared for whatever. Tony would be okay with mostly anyone who wants to being on the response team (more like he's short on time and has to Deal With It), but he'd probably coordinate with people he trust on figure out a specific game plan (looking at you, Shikamaru). Basically: Luceti Avengers assemble?

I'll pop around in the town meeting for sure. Otherwise not sure how much my crew could be helpful here but if there's guard duty to be done or you just need some extra bodies (LIVE BODIES not dead ones) I am happy to fill in a space!

I feel like I don't know enough about what's to come to really seriously plot but I am excited.

ALSO I think the fake/mole idea sounds so cool I wish I played a shapeshifter!

Helios has his mirage ring enchantment that he could use? It has to be bound to an object like jewelry or something though. And uhh magic canceling things would make it moot but there's always that~ Helios wouldn't do it himself but...perhaps he could be persuaded to make it for someone? It'll just make the person look like Bil. But there is the polyjuice thing so, just throwing this out there if there's a need for it.

If magic, such as it is, might be helpful at all, then here's a dude. He's more useful at blowing things up than he is at subtlety and misdirection (Magically, anyway) but he's certainly willing to try- and if we do need anything blown up? This guy's all over it.

I love the idea of the Bil impersonators and mind reading Bil! Pao-Lin can't participate in either of these, but if you need general guard duty, she'd certainly be up for that (especially since she's a member of the Rogues as well).

Neither of mine really have specialized skills for this, but they'd show up for a meeting and could be convinced into helping guard. Also, I would think (and Minato might suggest) that as many people as possible ought to be tapped to be guards, because if the same villagers disappear for long periods of time, the Malnosso might get the idea of following their movements til they get to Bil.

Sounds exciting. It'll be interesting to see what happens with the impersonators, and how much information is circulated around during the town meeting (considering only so many people know where Bil is).

It's good to have a meeting. Would anyone think to announce it by using the locked network? Even if it might become obvious as to what is going on, at least it wouldn't be too blatantly stated on the journals. Or maybe an IC cover could be an impromptu party, if anyone wanted to suggest that as the code for the meeting.

I actually like he impromptu party thing. Haruhi could do that easily if not on else posts on LucetiLocked or something (which would probably be easiest) I'll have to keep that in mind for future stuff.

Both of my guys would attend the town meeting for sure. Saleh would help wherever he can (depending on what goes down).

Jay would just observe, mostly. At this point, he has no idea who to cooperate with.

Rei is pretty set against cooperating with the Malnosso. She'll help defend the village as Mars, and will definitely attend the meeting.

Luke at this point seems fairly well set on working with the infiltration and protection plot. As stated above, he'll help act as a telepath and as a guard. Augmented as he is with Nomi Sunrider swimming around in his head...thats something.

Inspector Zenigata will be at the meeting as well, though I suspect he'll be less involved in anything active, and merely try and mitigate any potential harm to non-combatants should there be battle.

My guys will get themselves involved in some way! Kain, Vincent, and Mulder can all do... guarding or fighting, or anything else that comes up along those lines. Mulder in particular will be interested in that meeting.

Hm hm hmm. I don't think there's much Lestrade can do to help in terms of this plot, but hell if that's ever been enough to stop him from trying to get involved. He'll definitely be there for the town meeting. He doesn't know all that much about this 'Catherine' so he'll want to see what the deal is, maybe ask around about things that have happened, look into where people seem to be standing in regards to the guy. Sleuthy inspector things, since this is apparently a situation that would have ramifications for all the civilians in the enclosure and he's not the type to take a shine to that prospect.

IN CONTINUING MY COMMENT'S COMPLETELY-USEFUL STREAK, I think the Bil impersonators and moles are a really good idea. BE CRAFTY, YOU CRAZY LUCETIANS. Also the world aches for Luceti Avengers, but I think that goes without saying.

Up for volunteering Leonhardt for guard duty and also something else that could be handy is if someone is better with this sort of disguise and could aid him with it, he can multiply that to more fake Bils.

Mole Assist?

In case it got lost in the discussion above, I'd suggest there being more than one mole: someone to accompany whoever's impersonating Bil, who may not have room to maneuver much. This second person could be back-up if all goes to shit and would also need to be able disguise themselves (think like a pen that can be slipped out a pocket), or someone who could turn invisible. Two ways to infiltrate.

Nami can be the invisible girl in a pinch and she's got the stealth to pull it off besides BUT she is also not sure just how well that would work. She also points out that whoever is impersonating Bil plus any invisible tagalongs will have barcodes and that might be something droids pick up on immediately.

Grune's a bit difficult to get involved in things like this, but if anyone wants to sit her down and explain that bad people are being mean to her friends, she'd be quite willing to blow shit up in defence. :Db

Someone giving a heads up to the the non-reading, non-journal watching types would be greatly appreciated. Draco won't like being threatened and would help out against the Malnosso, but he's mostly up in the mountains, not near the village.

Mikado's not a fighter (and knows he doesn't even stand a chance against the Malnosso and whatnot) or have any special skills really but planning and strategizing? Yeah he'll be there. And at the meeting. Also will probably try to organize something with Dollars but I haven't figured that out yet. :|a woop woop

Souji doesn't care about your politics but if it means the chance to cut something, he'll be there. Count him in for guard duty or whatever!

'Paul Sernine' hasn't forgotten about the Dollars, and is more than willing to help facilitate something if it comes about. Like Mikado, he's also largely a non-action guy.

As much of a selfish dick Isaac can be, if this really seems like a way he can deceive and get back at the Malnosso, he'd do *something*, for himself. Far better than sitting on his ass, right? He's a bit touchy when it comes to others telling him how to do things.

He's a fierce fighter with a resistance to dark-elemental attacks and some resistance to fire. If it's of any use at all, other skills of his include forging weaponry and armour fairly quickly with the right materials, being able to teleport, and using one of the devils he can summon to disappear into a magic circle and slip under doors and into tight spaces. He can't be hurt while pulled into this portal, but he can attack from it by way of thrusting spikes outwards and causing explosions. He can't /constantly/ spam this skill - it'd be unfair, and also, his devil would be drained of A LOT of energy. BUT! Just putting that out there. :3 Feel free to ask questions.

As for Mac... I know he'd wanna help, but he wouldn't know what to do. So he's more likely to stay behind (and try to protect people against droids, if they show up).

Adell will be calling the Blue Rogues to increase the guard on Bil at Law's request. If necessary, he will ask members to pull multiple shifts. They also remain available for combat related duties as always.
