I come bearing a plot for June.
Hello, Luceti and hello all of you new people! Zane here, player of Naruto (![[personal profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/user.png)
jinchuuriki), Robo-Kyun (roboredom), and the subject of this post, Ragna (rageface). This post is pretty much all about Ragna, and a hefty plot that going down with him throughout the next couple of weeks until it accumulates into something big and awesome happening in June. And it's possibly going to involve your characters if you want to sign-up for something that might be cool!
Here's the deets. Ragna's right arm is actually a powerful artifact called the Azure Grimoire, which allows him to control the Azure as he pleases, so long as he does not mistake that power for his own. A lot of the control of the Azure is actually also fueled by his emotions, and if he opens up the limiters that prevent him from using its full capabilities at once. What's going to be happening is that Ragna is going to lose control of the Grimoire due to circumstances, and the Azure is going to consume him, turning him into half of the Black Beast.
Except he won't look like that.
The half that he's going to be is very similar to the form he takes during his bad end in his story mode during Continuum Shift, which means he's pretty strong, durable, and unable to control himself, along with emitting a toxic energy known as seithr. But he is absolutely aware of what his body is doing, but there is no reasoning behind the chaos that his body's gonna try to do. It's all going to start at his house, where he'll transform and run out into the village.
Now here's the part that involves other people.
On the first day, June 15th, Ragna is very capable of attacking anyone who gets near him while he's going nuts from the Azure. Those people can be anyone who just happens to run into the guy or actively seeks him out while he's trying to escape the village. This is where the seithr comes into play. Seithr is pretty toxic to the average human, and it deteriorates their body as they come into contact with too much of it without some sort of way of getting around how deadly it can get. Because of Ragna being a beacon of it, getting close to him can have one of two effects in Luceti, both of which will wear off after a short period of time.
1) Temporary rapid deterioration, where the person afflicted becomes sickly and violent, attacking people without any descretion.
2) Sick and weak, feeling their energy sapped right out of them if they get to close. It would probably get to the point of them passing out.
Basically: If you want to have Ragna make your character go berserk and violent, or just sick, for a short period of time ICly until the ailment wears off (think an hour), then you can sign up to have him attack you when he's fleeing the village.
As an example, the Hulk is going to be infected by the seithr when he runs into Ragna. This will cause the Hulk to get sick from it, and thanks to player-choice, will make him violent and attack whatever he pleases. He'll look pretty feral, but also quite sickly, and his eyes may contain a hint of red in them. He'll also be angry. More so than the Hulk usually is. This will last until the poisoning wears off about an hour or so after the initial meeting with Ragna, where he'll return to normal, though be drained of a ton energy from the whole thing. Nothing fatal from the seithr itself.
That's not to say that running into Ragna while he's like this will automatically infect your character. They can get away without having to deal with getting sick or violent, no matter what they do if they run into him. Fight him, try to reason with him, or just run from him. There's no need to be affected by the seithr. Anything goes, but the seithr infection is definitely a choice and something I thought would be a cool addition to the plot!
That's all on the first day.
On the second day, June 16th, Ragna is going to have escaped the village and stay in the forest, trying to fight the Azure and whatnot. This is when Noel (failazure) is going to venture out into the forest to try and find him, and some pretty bad stuff is going to go down. There's going to be a small group of people (five, not including Jubei) going with Jubei (catbro) to find Noel and stop Ragna once and for all, and that's going to go down as a fight in a log. Jubei is going to use his Ars Magus to put protective magic around the group to make them immune to the dense amount of seithr around Ragna, and to make it a relatively fair fight.
The group of five will be chosen based on volunteering OOCly in this entry, and by pretty much picking a name out of a hat for the spots. Jubei is only going to take characters ICly if they're more than strong enough to handle themselves in a fight against something like Ragna, however. He doesn't want them to be a liability in the middle of a major battle like this.
Then it'll all pretty much end with Jubei killing Ragna to stop him, and bam. Plot done.
To summarize:
On the first day of the plot, Ragna will transform into this and go berserk. He will run out into the village and try to attack anyone that steps in his way. You can sign up your characters to be infected by the seithr around him if they run into him, and and go berserk and run around the village for an hour while they're in this state, or just be sick. After that, Ragna will run into the forest.
On the second day of the plot, Jubei will take a small group and go hunting for Ragna and Noel, and it will end in a fight that kills Ragna. Anything that happens during the fight is absolutely up to the muns of the group, and you can sign up for the group if you want right here in the entry. Only five are going to be picked, and the characters have to be able to handle themselves in a fight.
This plot will take place between June 15th and 16th, if there's no conflicting things with any Luceti events or other player plots. This one can be moved if there is! Otherwise, all of the logs/entries will be going up on the 15th to save time.

But no seriously. Basically I plan to have my own little mini-sub plot in the mix with this plot. To put it simply, what will happen is that the Hulk is going to fight Ragna for about an hour or so, and the Seithr will slowly begin to take control until he becomes a rampaging monster who can't stop himself. You know how Hulk is seen most of the time in shows and stuff? Big destructive monster who can't be reasoned with? Thaaaaat's basically what's gonna happen here. For about an hour unless someone can take him down before he comes to his senses.
Hulk is a pretty strong guy keep in mind. He can lift about 50 tons with the power limit (more depending on how mad he gets) and he has a healing factor which constantly keeps healing whatever damage he takes. That being said he probably get taken down rather easily by say someone like Goku or the like. Anyway, so I don't ramble too much, in this plot after Hulk is beaten, he's going to turn back into Bruce Banner due to exhaustion. Which will reveal-- GASP-- HE'S THE HULK OMG! I've been trying to think of a plot to reveal that little fact, so I figured this is a good time for it
If not, he could just... get knocked out. Or come to his senses after the hour is up without the whole Banner reveal tidbit. JUST TELL ME WHAT YOU GUYZ THINKS.

Shikamaru's usual schtick of holding someone off from a distance with his shadow is no good, because that shadow is pooled with chakra (life energy), thus being effected by the seithr around Ragna and looping right back to him.
tl;dr - realized with Zane that seithr poisoning is extra awful for people who use their life energy as a weapon. Whoops.
That said, he'd figure out it's a Bad Thing for him pretty quick, so if there's someone else around to protect to give him an excuse to do it anyways... that would be awesome. For the whole idea to work at all. XD

re: the final fight
The battle itself will be on a separate log. I'll coordinate with the muns of the characters picked about a week before the plot happens (most likely through a post on lucetiooc or elsewhere) and whatever is discussed there can be assumed to be discussed ICly as well. If the post won't be put on lucetiooc I'll PM a link to where it will be discussed.
If you have any questions for me as well feel free to ask. And because I'll be busy with Jubei for this entire plot, both Howard Stark and Mayoi Hachikuji won't be involved in this. Howard will probably get sent on a mission and Mayoi handwaved into hiding out away from the chaos.
