A...potentially graceful intro?

Hello people.

This here is Grue/Axiom, the guy behind Luke Skywalker and Inspector Zenigata.  Here I am, getting ready to intro another cop.  Another Interpol Agent at that, only this one obeys a bit less cartoon physics.  Chun-Li (SHE HAS NO LAST NAME!)

For the unfamiliar, Chun-Li is one of the original batch of characters from Street Fighter 2, the original "Fast" character in fighting games, and the first playable girl in the genre.  She's an incredibly friendly, upbeat practitioner of Chinese wushu from Hong Kong, where she's pretty famous for being a really bang-up detective.  Then along comes this psychic flying nazi crimeboss named Bison, who kills her dad and pretty much changes her entire life goal to "Arrest that guy."  So she joins Interpol and goes off to chase the evil.  Thus her involvement in the Street Fighter tournaments.

She's not fond of vicious criminals, guys named Bison, Vega, or Balrog, and people who are jerks.  But she does like pretty much everybody else.  And doggies, she really likes doggies.

I'll be posting an intro post later on in the day.  Lets have more fun together, yea?

I'm looking forward to seeing her in-game personally. I'll probably try to hit her up with Samurai Goroh once he's in. He's a criminal himself, but not a vicious one.

Oh, incidentally, you should probably go in and mark your current Chun Li posts as 'date out of order' just so they don't show up on everyone's reading list.

I am so happy to see Chun-Li in Luceti. I love seeing characters from Street Fighter represented in RP, and Chun-Li's the most badass of the crop from it. Fighting games, representing. /o/

Heck yes. I've seen a lot of Blazblue guys around, but I've not seen too many Street Fighter ones. Its kind of a shame. Udon did a bang up job with the comics, and not just the Street Fighter ones. The Darkstalkers comics were also top notch. And to be honest, it came down to Chun-Li and Victor Von Gerdenheim.

Street Fighter's got a lot of source material, so maybe it's a little intimidating? Some of it's not the easiest to come by, too. Shame if that's the case, because it's all pretty good stuff. I agree fully on Udon's work too. Love them so much.

Hopefully the new Darkstalkers game rumors come true, and we can see some more of those RPers flock out. Also Gerdenheim ahjdhgskfdj /o/

I know Udon is re-releasing their comics again soon, and I've heard rumors they're going to a Print-on-Demand system, so hopefully soon. I think the hardest thing about Street Fighter is keeping continuity straight (and its still easier than SNK!)

I kind of got into Darkstalkers well after it went "Retro" which makes me feel like I missed out. I've picked the games up on my Saturn, but I didn't do that until about 2 years ago

I'm actually heading out to buy Tekken X Street Fighter after work today. Pre-ordered it like...the week I got to Japan.
