So I was mulling over how the marksmanship/archery competitions could be scored because as it stands, most of the people entering either competition are pretty spot on when it comes to aim. Missing is unlikely for anyone, there probably won't be any critical failures in equipment, and most everyone is probably hitting bullseyes.

So random dice roll/rng! Number range of 5-10, one roll per judge, the points are averaged out. 10 is a perfect bullseye, 5 is hitting the outermost ring.

Between three competitors you could end up with a spread like this:

Competitor 1:
shot 1: 7, 7, 8 = 7
shot 2: 5, 6, 10 = 7
shot 3: 9, 8, 9 = 8
Total score: 22

Competitor 2:
Shot 1: 8, 9, 8 = 8
Shot 2: 10, 6, 8 = 8
Shot 3: 6, 7, 8 = 7
Total score: 23

Competitor 3:
Shot 1: 7, 8, 7 = 7
Shot 2: 10, 6, 10 = 8
Shot 3: 5, 5, 7 = 5
Total score: 20

Three different scores that give a fairly even representation of how someone might shoot. For people with heightened senses or other abilities that would give them an edge (Bullseye or Hawkeye come to mind), a +1 can be given to each shot.
