Okay, so hopefully Loki will be all back from canon update and no longer wanting to rip his bro's face off with his fingernails, and thus:

Winter Solstice is December 21 and you know that that means!

Bonfires! Lots of bonfires! Beer! Boar! Magical wishing tree! Mead! Mead with added magical whammy! ALL THE WHAMMY! Music! Dancing! More boar! Setting something on fire and throwing it down the tallest mountain to welcome the sun back! HANGOVERS!

So this is just an OOC heads up that we will have a log, and would love to hear your suggestions! One or both of the boys will do some kind of pre-feast announcement (probably on the 11th) as we get closer. And characters who would like to help with the food and decorations will be very welcome. Because Thor doesn't know how to cook beyond putting it on a stick and throwing it over an open fire, and Loki's practically a vegetarian these days.

Belle has suggested having a pre-solstice boar hunt on December 20--would anyone be interested in that as well? (Beer! Hunting! Danger! People falling off horses! MALE BONDING! ohpleaseohplease Katniss go with him and school him)

I could see Isaac coming to this again. I think he'd find it a little cathartic, seeing something being set ablaze and thrown down. Hopefully burning a path to the village, he thinks. << ... >>

Kirk will help out with decorations and setting up food/drink. Because screw sitting in bed on Solstice night! Spock can deal with it And somehow I see "Spin the Bottle" being introduced.

Deadpool will happily join the Boar hunt. Likely with a bunch of mead. This can only end in good things!

Iroh would be happy to be there for the feast. He can provide fire.
