Thinking it over, she probably wouldn't go in to fight now since even if the spirit is kind of a dick, it doesn't want to risk Kari getting hurt since where else would it live if something were to happen to her!! Though if it stumbles across him before the reveal it'll probably just try to have a really weird conversation with him or something.
