Upcoming event: poll edition...!
Hi Luceti! (Apologies for the character account in the OOC comm; our poor mod journal cannot create polls!)
In honor of the end of this latest app round, we are pleased to bring you our next event!
... sort of. You see, we had a couple of ideas this time around, and we want to know what you think! So we're going to post a poll for you guys to choose from amongst three options. You can only pick one; however, the two event ideas that do not get picked won't be shelved forever! We'll just use them at a later date. So without further ado:
1) Village-wide amnesia. Characters receive flash-card with two facts and a lie about themselves to help them discover themselves and piece together their identities. Players are free to re-use some of the rumours introduced during the topsy-turvy event, or create new ones!
2) Pleasantville: Monochrome village that’s cheesily cheerful. Seventh Heaven becomes a mom-and-pop diner, Cloud Nine a speak-easy, and Good Spirits a malt shop. Wardrobes all over town are suddenly replaced with ‘50s appropriate fashions. People may be compelled to act out appropriate roles, like being a dutiful mother, responsible father, football team goon, class president, local politician, or bumbling country doctor.
3) Telepathy: People’s surface thoughts are an open book. The running dialog in their head is free for anyone to hear and judge them over.
These are just summaries; we'll post a proper event write-up around the 25th, depending on which is chosen. The event itself will begin on the 27th and run through the 1st of October. So have at!
Finally, our latest friends add list will be included with the actual event post due to go up in a few days!
