THIS IS A COLD WAR

Winter has set in, the snow's getting on thick. Just ripe enough for snow ball fights. Duels.  But what about a war?

That's right, a Snow War. 

Mari and I have devised a field full of forts, trenches, chest high walls, moats around the forts on this spectacularly crafted battle field just for YOU!

There will be excitement and prizes and an area for spectators, possibly even commentators if we get any volunteers for it. 

The Ideal date for this would be the middle of January, around the 16th, so this is a preliminary post to drum up some interest and see what other ideas anyone might have for the FIELD OF BATTLE! Slides? Secret tunnels? What would you and your characters find the most enticing?

Questions, comments, concerns and quips are all appreciated. Let me know what you think!

RIGHT! I forgot:

Each fort gets a flag, every participant a belt of flags a la flag football. Getting hit with a snow ball doesn't out you. Running out of flags does. Whichever team gets the opposite flag wins! And there will be prizes for awesome plays or ploys or flags obtained.

Secret tunnels would be pretty sweet, and allow for SNEAKY BUSINESS to occur on the field of snow battle.

Also (and I may be a little too inspired by Assassin's Creed for this), what about a few other snow buildings about for people to weave between/run on the rooftops of? WINTERY PARKOUR ACTION. >_>
